Geek glasses can work. When I think geek glasses I think of large, Noam Chomsky style square glasses with two wires across the bridge of the nose, not Buddy Holly or Malcolm X glasses. That's just me, though...

I got my 3r consecutive pair of nerdy glasses towards the end of last year, I prefer them without the tint it ruins the nerdy appeal

these are mine :)

I got a pair of Ray Bans Wayfarers for Christmas, went to the Eye Doctor and they took the lens out and put my prescribed lenses in. The cool thing about my glass are that they have transitional lens so when I am in the sunlight they turn into sunglasses.

i've been wanting to have some geek glasses ... since i saw a girl one the street wearing one. she's had really thick corrective lenses put into the frames, it looked terrible. she looked a bit cross-eyed because of that illusion which corrective lenses give. it's a great thing only for someone who has a pretty good sight.

i have to admit i hate this trend, because i actually need glasses. :/ Years of mocking for needing glasses and then as soon as they become "cool" people are asking me where i got mine.

I bought a pair of vintage Tart Arnel frames, the same ones Johnny Depp wears. They're beautiful!

I have these geek glasses, that I hate to wear. I only wear them if
I'm running late or don't have enough time to put in my contacts.

"geek" glasses are ridiculous, to me they make people look stupid and way too try hard-y

My roomies sister was wearing a pair today and I think it looked really cool. :) I kinda love this trend but I'm a little afraid to try it out myself - exactly for the reason that it can look a little "try-hard-y". I might do it eventually.
