Glee

They took a break because of the baseball. Anyway, word is that Chord Overstreet is coming back in a recurring role. I'm quite pleased actually, I just hope they actually use him this time because Sam never really went anywhere.

Glee Exclusive: Chord Overstreet to Return!

Trouty Mouth is getting reeled back in!

Three months after his high profile departure from Glee, Chord Overstreet is in final talks to return to the show on a recurring basis, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Assuming the deal closes — and I’m told it definitely will — Overstreet will reprise his role as the sweet, sculpted Sam beginning with this season’s eighth episode (tentatively scheduled to air in early December).

“We missed Chord and Chord missed us,” says a source close to the show. “It’s a win-win.”

Glee made headlines over the summer when word leaked that the show opted not to pick up Overstreet’s series regular option for Season 3. Producers invited him back on a recurring basis, but he declined. “They offered me the chance to come back for a few episodes, but there was nothing guaranteed so I decided to dive into the music thing,” he told TVLine in August. “And that’s been my main priority the past two months.”

It’s unclear how Sam will be reintroduced — we learned in the premiere that he moved out of state with his family — or what his return will mean for exes Quinn and Mercedes. While I suss that out, feel free to speculate in the comments section. And while you’re there, take a stab at answering this question: Are you happy Sam’s back?!

E! ONLINE SPOILERS -

Any info on the Santana and Sugar rivalry? Or just any general information on either of them would be fantastic. Thanks!
Rivals? Actually, they'll be teaming up. But don't worry, it's not as diabolical as you think. And it has nothing to do with the Brittana situation. See next question.

Anything about Brittana (Brittany/Santana) on Glee?
From what we hear, Brittany (Heather Morris) and Santana (Naya Rivera) finally getting together isn't a Will-Emma zero-to-relationship thing. We'll get a sweet little scene and a moment Brittana fans have been wanting for a long time.

This Glee hiatus is killing me. Please give me a scoopy bit to help with the wait.
Two scoopy bits for the price of one! You're welcome. A character we haven't seen since last season pops up in the next episode. And there is trouble ahead for one of these three couples: Will-Emma, Mercedes-Marcus, Mike-Tina.

Wasn't Chord against this return couse he is not series regular?

I guess he realizes that recruiting is better than no role.

why are they even bothering to bring him back ?
his character wasnt all that big and i found him quite boring to be honest..

Cue the squeals and swoons...Finchel is finally getting it on!

Yes, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith's Glee characters are going all the way, and Lea spilled all about their sexy scenes this weekend. They were definitely hot, but not in the way you're probably thinking.

"He was sweating so much," Lea told me. "I was so grossed out!"

What got Cory so hot and bothered? They had to shoot the sex scenes in front of a fireplace!

"Oh my god, it was way awkward," Lea laughed while attending the 15-year anniversary party for Mohegan Sun Resort on Saturday night. "I adore Cory. He's like my brother and to have to do some of the stuff we did in front of our entire crew...it's so less sexy than you think. Really, we were in a room with like 20 people around us, sitting by the fireplace."

But Lea says she's happy with the results of their racy shoot and that her character losing her virginity has been a long time coming.

"I saw some photos and I was like 'Damn! We look good,' " she shared. "As a fan of the show, it's something I wanted to see for awhile and it's very interesting how everything plays out."

Can't wait to see for ourselves!

'Glee': Jonathan Groff Returns, Another New Directions Defector and More Spoilers

The Hollywood Reporter joined an estimated 200 journalists on the set of the Fox hit Wednesday in Hollywood to celebrate the milestone during filming of the 300th musical performance. Between questions about the show's influence on fashion and reflections on their favorite performances, the Murphy and company discussed The Glee Project winners' arrivals, the return of Rachel's ex, Jesse St. James (Groff), tribute episodes and more. Here are five things to look forward to this season.

1. Groff's Jesse St. James is returning. Murphy noted that the frequent guest star will return as the coach of New Directions rival Vocal Adrenaline, in which he'll share "many scenes" with The Glee Project runner-up Alex Newell. In honoring what the Glee co-creators said during Glee Project episodes, Murphy said Newell will appear as the "lovechild of Kurt and Mercedes" and turn to McKinley High pair for advice.

2. Glee Project update. Fellow Glee Project winners Samuel Larson will appear in either Episode 10 or 11 -- taking place after the show's Christmas break in January -- when school is back in session and a new semester returns. Glee Project's Lindsay Pearce will also return in Episode 8 as the "Rachel of her school," Murphy said, noting that she'd be competing against "our groups" -- perhaps indicating she'll face off with both McKinley glee clubs.

3. New edition. Speaking of rival glee clubs, filming for the 300th musical performance featured McKinley's other group, which in addition to Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Santana (Naya Rivera) has another big New Directions defector: Brittany (Heather Morris). How that all unfolds before the 300th performance airs during the Nov. 15 episode, however, is anyone's guess.

4. Tribute time. Murphy said there will be one tribute episode during Season 3, and that it's been in the works for two years. While there was no indicator just who or what that would look like -- he told THRin June that he was discussing making the episode a supersized one. Noting that that the executive producers always listen to the cast's suggestions on which songs they'd like to perform and how the envision their characters doing so, Murphy noted that he's received phone calls from Pete Townshend offering songs from his library and that he's having dinner soon with Barry Manilow. "It's always thrilling when household names call and love the show and say, 'Here's our catalog, pick what you like,' " Murphy noted.

5. Graduation. With graduation looming, Murphy reiterated that just because kids graduate doesn't mean that they can't be a part of Glee. "We haven't figured out what that is yet," he told reporters Wednesday, noting that writers were at work on the eighth script of the year and much still depended on what show's actors wanted to do. "We talk about that every day," Murphy said.

Glee
returns Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. on Fox. The show's 300th musical performance will air during its Nov. 15 episode.

maybe it doesnt, but i find it more considerate to put it in white so its easier to pass over a spoiler without getting bits and pieces of it and then knowing it from those bits and pieces.. :ermm:

I'm not aiming this at you, it's just a general remark, so please don't take it as a virtual b*tch slap or anything :flower:. It might just be me but aren't spoilers somewhat unavoidable these days? The stories are carried on just about every website that covers anything TV and showbiz wise these days, not mention all over twitter. I would think unless someone avoided all of those, finding out things is inevitable whether you wanted to read them or not. But I get your point so sorry.

^It´s just common courtesy in all threads about movies/tv shows to whiten spoilers. Jon Groff returning might be in every site as a headline but not that he´s returning as VA´s coach, so that´s worthy of whiten out. Another solution is to write Spoiler in big black letters, but please if people are gonna comment on those spoilers, write in white :)
