I got a chance to see "Curse of the Golden Flower" last week. I have to say it disappointed me (I'm not really a fan of Zhang Yimou's last two martial arts films either, House of Flying Daggers and Hero; I prefer his older work), but my brother loved it.

She looked really, really, reaaallly beautiful in it, though. It was nice to see her costarring with Chow Yun Fat (who I also adore). And if anyone is into C-pop, Jay Chou is also in the movie. He's not bad, either.
