^^From left to right that is actually Shu Qi, a Taiwanese actress, Zhang Ziyi, and then Gong Li. Shu Qi is also very beautiful, but she's got a bad rep as she was in some soft core p*rn. But then again, her family was absolutely dirt poor and they needed money.
And yes, isn't it incredible how well she has aged?? She has such beautiful features and hair. A lot of Hollywood actresses should take note.
So just because they needed $, Shu Qi's fam pimped her out to do p*rn?
Shu Qi It was a big mistake hope she learntNo. She was one of the many young actresses in Hong Kong who worked in some Category III movies--essentially the equivalent of an R rating in the USA. The extent of her p*rn career was appearing topless in several movies, some of which were very mainstream.
An actress showing her breasts in a Hong Kong movie formerly meant that she would be typecast as such but that is no longer the case. Shu Qi is a very talented (and extremely attractive) actress who works probably as much as she wants and who has appeared opposite the biggest stars of Hong Kong--Tony Leung Ka Fai, Leslie Cheung (RIP), Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, Ekin Cheng, even Jackie Chan.
But this is careening wildly off course from a thread about Gong Li, so I will stop here--maybe start (or continue) one about Shu Qi.
