Grey's Anatomy

She cant! She just cant! Theres still hope, next episode next episode

that was the most frustrating episode ever!

she can't die! the show is named after her! i didn't like the ending so much. we knew thats the only way denny would be back

OK, this is what I think's gonna happen:

Meredith has died, and she'll talk with Denny and Dylan for most of the next episode, blah, blah, blah, then she'll realize it's not her time to die and she'll come back to life. But the preview said it was gonna be a "devastating conclusion." What does that mean?

^^^hmm i don't know what that means. maybe they are just trying to trick us? or maybe they mean mark and izzie will get together. now that would be devastating!

I don't know. Izzie said that she thought that George made a mistake marrying Callie, right? So maybe she and George will get together, and that will be devastating for Callie?

^oh god i hope not!! that would just be weird! i wasn't really paying attention when Izzy gave her little speech, but I thought thats what she was implying too

i still can't get over what just happened. MEREDITHS BLUE PEOPLE! ahhhh i just cannot wait for next week...

At the beginning I was kinda moved by Izzie's I-believe speech, then it went on and on and on...I just wanted her to stop.

BTW, I think Addison will be the new Chief. She is calm and kind. When she said "Meredith don't do this,"...

ya after that incident I started to like Addison's character more.

I dont think the tragic incident is going to be what people are thinking. it has to be something else. the show would be too different if it were true

i'm sorry but this just can't happen. the producers are trying to trick us.. it has to be like that. i mean gosh.. they can't do this!

i hope that addison will become the new chief. i like her, i've always liked her. already from the beginning

You all have some pretty strong feelings about this. I’ve been reading your comments. STRONG feelings. Which I respect. Grey’s is in its third season and we’re doing something a little…different. It’s about time we did. Because, just as I said when you all shouted your horror about the Meredith/George sex, I remind you that we writers like to follow the characters here and we try very hard not to make story just to make story. We like to have a point. Meredith being dead is about…well, you will see what it is about next week. She was in pain, this girl. And…

…okay, I don’t want to talk about that. Meredith being dead at the end of this episode. I can’t. Not yet.
.....
The most interesting one to watch this episode is Derek. I don’t know if you remember that in first season, he said to Meredith: “You were like coming up for fresh air. I was drowning and you saved me.” It was good to be able to call that back (everything comes back around eventually on this show, I find) and to see what happens when Meredith is drowning. He’s not Mer’s knight in shining whatever – he gets kicked out the trauma room where Richard and Bailey are working on her. He’s forced to sit out in the hall, helpless. And he’s seeing his worst nightmare come true. Because he’s realizing: Meredith has become so important to him and the prospect of losing her is terrifying. Who is he if he isn’t the guy who rescues Mer? Who is he when he can’t save a life?
