Grosgrain Ribbon Belts

I love grosgrain but mostly as a detail on the inside of clothes. I'm working on making these dupioni silk skirts and the inner waistband is a contrasting colour of grosgrain ribbon.

As for ribbon belts and such- it is way too preppy for me but I think it is cute on the right person... The whale motif ones are hysterical - lacoste vintage alligator ones are attractive as well.

Well, there nice, But a belt with a BIG buckle is what I prefer. At the moment.

I love ribbon belts. They're so preppy, and look great with just a white tee and jeans. Emphasis on the belt.
I made my own out of pink satin ribbon from my ballet shoes, and I love em!
