The rest of them are rubbish, but i have a strange affection for the last one. At first I thought he was sporting calipers and a walking stick. Plus the person getting to grips with their lute.

Some of them are emulating the women in the paintings of Ingres, like La Grand Odalisque and Madame Moitessier, which is quite interesting, but somehow it all falls flat? The background looks like those cheap comic filters you can put on Photoshop...

I like how the models were lit to look like paintings but the sci-fi theme is unnecessary…it would be better if it were played straight: emulating a renaissance painting.

They'll have shot SS2023. They would have done it the Day of the show or the day after, If they're using the twins.

That last picture of Karen looks very chic and luxurious. We haven't seen something like that in a long time, and not just from Gucci.

In love with Karen's new set of images! Easily outsold the previous campaign, though I wonder why they would shoot two different campaigns for a Cruise collection. If the new guy takes Gucci in this sort of direction I'd be all for it!

love the shots of Karen, the lighting and all that warm wood works beautifully with her hair.

I don't hate Alessandro's 'chaotic bobo playing dress-up in the attic' aesthetic but those photographs aren't my favourites. I like the colourful backgrounds, but I can see how people are tired of it.

Karen's campaign is the Gucci we missed, the right casting, location and styling.
