I think some of them do look really scene but it just really depends how you wear it. You have to find a balance between scene and little girl in my opinion to pull it off.

I'm still trying to find the perfect hair bow. The ones I'm seeing in the stores aren't the ones I'm envisioning for my head. LOL.

I just want the same look Blair in Gossip Girl had with the Valentino red hairband. *sigh*

The common complaint is that this look is "too girly" for some ladies. Here's something I'm willing to admit- I love ribbons and bows on ladies. From as young as baby girls to as old as... well, the sky's the limit. Some cute girls look even more lovely with a bow. I haven't resented this because part of my likes in women's fashion has to do with style. This even includes innocence. It's why I've loved stuff ladies wear like ballet shoes, sashes and sash belts, ribbons in their hair, and that sort of thing.

Having said this, I'm sure some designer will find some way to make them less girly by... say, adding skulls. I'm sure someone did that already. This skate/punk trend has to go. Anyhow, I even know some ladies who do dress girly and even do girly things. One of my friends likes polka dots and is very angelic. She couldn't be any cuter in looks, so I think she would have no problem with hair bows if indeed she wanted to buy one.

This is still a very nice touch to ladies.

Yeah, but I'm just one guy. I'm sure there are plenty of other fellows that resent anything that is or looks too girly. There's still nothing wrong with these hair bows if you can have a lovely hair style to compliment the hair bow.

Some of these hair bows are too much to me. The ones in Post #189 are just right. They are also the most beautiful of recent hair bow pictures. Lovely details and overall lovely hair bows.
