Harajuku Style

There is a distinction in the Japanese media. Even to the Japanese people, harajuku style is considered very "costume." But it's definitely still eye candy to me.

Most of the time it's too much but I still love the courage they have to combine it all...it is a unique style and they have my credits for that. I'm mostly keen on the gothic lolita style...

I'm surprised there are so many people that dislike this 'trend'. I would never ever dress like this myself but I think the whole look itself is genius. I love all the color mixes and crazy hair. I think only Japanese girls can pull it off, though. I get serious seconhand embarassment when I see European adults doing CosPlay, it's just all wrong. You definitely have to be young, super cute and tiny to make it work.

You have to know how to wear it. I agree with you Psylocke, only Japanese girls can pull it off. I think they have wicked sense for style. I find them really cute and fascinating. They have such a free spirit!
I love the song from Gwen Stefani-Harajuku girls She really describe them good.

I really like it, the colours and bows are all very cute ! I am not sure I could really pull it off but there is alwasys aspects to take from it and add to my outfits..I usually do wear a bow in my hair!
