What hats for men do you think are non-trendy but in the up and comming style? i'm very anti-von dutch so i don't wanna hear about a trucker hat!!! i was thinking a fedora type hat? i dunno :chef:

Or a homburg...or a panama...or a cool Galliano style hat...anything but a trucker hat or baseball cap for me.

Where I live they are almost a necessity during the winter. They have much cuter designs for girls than they do for guys though.

People also wear a lot of toques were I live and that's part of the reason I dislike 'em. B)

I love hats! Not baseball caps or trucker hats  , but real hats. It's hard to recommend a shape because so much depends on proportions of both the hat and the person. Most of all, a person MUST have hattitude! Some people are born to wear hats and other people look dreadful in them. I'm definitely from the wrong century. Just the word 'milliner' makes me swoon.

galliano style hats are so cool

Traditional definition: Chef Hat made for comfort and durability. But in these times an example is something of this sort... ghetto fabulous im sure you'll agree

Prince of Cats, a toque is just a regular knitted winter hat. I was half joking when I posted that. They can look cute though in bright colours with little bits of hair sticking out from under the hat. But they're more for keeping your head and ears warm in the winter.

Oh right, thanks...I have a giant communist submarine captain's hat to keep my ears warm....

i have one flopy hat in black-similar to what penelope cruz had on for the ralph lauren perfume ads. goes nicely with dresses or shirt-pants ensemble for polo afternoons. i can't seem to find a fedora hat anywhere...

Omigod @ the fedora  I used to sport fedoras until people began to crack dumb jokes at me like I was Michael Jackson's love child... If you rock a fedora, make sure you get one that's small, not big and Michael Jackson-esque.

I also wear berets... try them. They're kinda frenchy froo froo though....
