This is a thread for everything related to Vincenzo De cotiis's Haute.

He is a genius of working with fabrics, experimenting on luxury fabrics by burning them, etc in his studio.

one picture of S/S 05

Most of the pictures available to me of this collection don't show the great pieces.

So see www.lift-net.co.jp/fla.html --> collections --> Haute

He has also done a hotel interior with the same design sensibility.

I really like Haute, it feels sort of romantic btu utilitarian and destroyed.

i've heard quite a buzz about him. the pictures so far don't really impress me though, maybe just because i can't really see any of the details... i'll patiently await more pics :)

thanks raijin for the pics so far :flower:

Haute is nice, but nothing special. Saw some of it at Liberty a few months ago though and I did like it, especially a dark grey/brown wool suit. There's quite a lot of it on Yoox (S/S) at the moment.

Maybe I'm mistaking, but I think Runner told me that he used to work for Carpe Diem. It might be just my imagination, though.

His stuff is cut way too slim for my liking.

Nice pieces, I'll have to see more though, some are just really boring, but I can see this guy has talent, lots.

I don't really see how the pieces presented are boring?

Maybe classic in form but the fabrics and treatments are innovative.

Faust, It was Luca Laurini of Label Under Construction that used to work for Carpe Diem.

Vincenzo was trained as an architect and then started this line.
