There was a Ava Gardner VS. Hedy Lamarr on another board, and Most people said Ava was prettier, some even said Hedy wasn't that pretty. I was surprised, because I think Hedy is much more Beautiful, Ava is attractive to me, but not a great beauty. I think because Ava is a more famous actress she won.
Exactly. Imo, Ava was a very attractive woman. However, if we talk in terms of beauty, I think Hedy was much more beautiful than her.

Gotta love silly comparisons ^_^ Ava was superbeautiful in the beginning of her career, but in general I like Hedy more. She has a devastating, intense mystique about her, and possibly the most perfect profile ever.
I agree with you. I love #301 portrait, thank you :flower:

Ugh that second to last pic in #310 is one of the most beautiful photos I've ever seen, and in such glorious quality

Thanks for the Vogue scans, it's an interesting reading.
All those pics... she was insanely beautiful.

Just watched Tortilla Flat for the first time- Story and acting: boring and long, a typical short short stretched into a two hour movie deal; but Hedy was beautiful and about the only thing that saved the film! ;)
