Andy Warhol & The Factory

i agree with you fairyx, she should write a book. her story is so cool! the only picture that i knew was the one with edie, so thanks a lot for the others!

And she is one of the few who tells others how nice Edie was. Edie would teach her all kinds of make up tricks. Like a couple of kids, they had fun playing with make up..

Yes! She should definitely write a book about her life. She is so gorgeous and interesting.

i'd love to have edie teaching me about make-up tricks :woot:

it seems like a perfect life to me. how i wish i lived back then too

Love this thread! Have been a Warhol fan for years. Factory Made is a great book, lots of background and some good pics. I can also recommend Swimming Underground although I agree with an earlier post that Mary Woronov is a little intimidating.

It did seem like a fantastic time to be alive and a very creative place to be in, *

I've recently rewatched some Morrissey-Warhol movies, and although the quality isn't very good, I made a few screencaps of some of the actors that appears in them.

In the first place, the divine Joe Dallesandro in "Trash" (1970) and "Heat" (1972). Btw, it was very hard to find scenes where he wasn't totally naked :ninja:

Andrea Feldman, also in "Trash" (1970) and "Heat" (1972). Sadly, she committed suicide in 1972, shortly before the release of "Heat".

Jane Forth, one of my absolute favorite, in "Trash" (1970) and "Women in revolt" (1971).

I watched Factory Girl, and I'm very intrigued about how this group functions. When Edie wanted to get paid by Andy, it made me think that this was just a social group who didn't get paid to do anything. They were like "professional" socialites.
