I'm sure she will look better after 6 months. Right now her botox is ridiculous and her face is still healing. She is cosmetically pretty yes. But it does look foreign. Kind of reminds me of when people get those cheek and jaw things (what are they called?) put in. Their faces look so weird- Madonna did it, so did Cher. Crazy enough, Jocelyn Wildenstein has had hers taken out!

Heidi Montag’s Plastic Surgeon Says Reality Star Didn’t ‘Almost Die’ Following Procedures, Isn’t Addicted To Surgeries


Heidi Montag’s plastic surgeon has addressed claims by the reality star that she almost died following her surgery.

In a new interview with Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson, Dr. Frank Ryan said Heidi’s comments to Access’ Billy Bush – that she almost died in recovery – aren’t correct.

“I almost died after my procedure,” Heidi told Billy on Monday. “I had too much Demerol like Michael Jackson did and my breathing was five breaths per minute which is like almost dead. [I was] in an aftercare center, there were nurses that were supposed to be tending to me at all times.”

But that isn’t how her doctor remembers it.

“That didn’t happen as far as I know,” he told Shaun on Tuesday.

“Where would she get that information from?” Shaun asked.

“I don’t know,” Dr. Ryan said.

Heidi also claimed in her interview with Billy that medical personnel, “had to put oxygen on my face and call my plastic surgeon to come in for an emergency.”

“So Heidi got that information wrong?” Shaun asked the doctor.

“Yeah,” Dr. Ryan replies.

Heidi told Billy on Monday that, despite some claims, she is not addicted to plastic surgery.

“I do love it and I appreciate it and I appreciate the science behind it,” she explained. “How incredible… we [are] blessed to even have this surgery that we have. We’re so advanced. If Cleopatra were alive now, I’m sure she’d have triple D’s… there’s always been a struggle between pain and beauty. I feel like since the beginning of time.”

And Dr. Ryan too, refutes the claim or criticism he should not have operated on the star.

“I knew going in, one of the angles was the ‘addiction angle,’ which is a media-driven sort of angle. That’s just not true,” he said. “I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?’”

“But you do not think Heidi is addicted to plastic surgery?” Shaun asked.

“Oh, it’s not that I don’t think, I know [she’s not],” he said. “I mean again I do not, would never in a million years, and did not and would not operate on someone who’s addicted to plastic surgery.”

“Were you concerned about your own reputation?” Shaun asked.

“Yeah, that’s exactly why I’m doing these interviews,” he said. “It’s just not true. Heidi just wanted to improve her image. She’s a savvy business woman.”

When asked about criticisms by some – that 10 surgeries at one time signals some type of addiction, Dr. Ryan revealed Heidi had more procedures than was revealed.

“I really call it 30 surgeries because if we’re gonna count Botox injections we should count every single injection, and both breasts, not just you know so it’s two surgeries,” he said. “Why say 10 surgeries? It sells magazines.”

Heidi told Billy she might want more surgeries, but Dr. Ryan said no.

“I mean, come on. What does she need? She’s a beautiful girl,” he said.

“You’re not ruling it out though?” Shaun asked.

“Yeah, I’m ruling it out. I can’t imagine what she would possibly want,” he responded.

But Dr. Ryan said another Montag may want to go under the knife.

“Her mother on the other hand, saw the pictures and called Heidi right away and said, ‘Heidi, I want him to do a mommy makeover for me.. Can you arrange that?’” he added.

And he claimed Heidi’s mother wants the surgery soon.

“For Valentine’s Day,” Dr. Ryan claimed. “Heidi may buy it for her for Valentine’s Day.”

It is so easy to take cheeks implants out I have seen it on dr beverly hills with that p*rn star when she wanted to get a natural look back on
But again she did not have reason to do it she was a beautiful girl I had surgery twice myself (not the same year)but I did not do it for any pleasure and when youre in the wake up room you hurt like a mo*** fuc*** so I cant imagine 10 procedures in one day that should be illegal

^^ it depends on your implants...if they are made up of a plastic with tiny holes in the implant can be difficult/impossible to take out because the scars/skin grows into the holes, holding the implant in place. I doubt she had that anyway, it is obviously fat injections.

Excersise is a natural manipulation of your body and is also healthy. How can you compare waxing hair to putting two balloons in your chest? How can you compare bleaching teeth to brushing them (its simple hygiene)? We wear make up sure, but we dont all go and get our noses done and and chins shaved off!

There is a big fat line that divides "beautiful and well looked after" and " some one plastic and fake, that looks nothing like themselves"

And there is a difference between exercising for the sake of health, and bulking up via the aid of steroids.

ok, if i didn't know what she looked like before i'd definitely think she's a pretty girl, but knowing how she looked, i feel sad for her. i think her first lot of surgeries enhanced her looks, but this is ridiculous. she can never go back to how she looked before

she's lost character in her face, she's so barbie like. in the pics with the dog she looks like her face is paralysed

i wonder how spencer feels, and her mother? it the article a few posts up the Dr says the she now wants surgery too, but I've read other articles where her mom was devastated.

and how hilarious was it in the interview when she refused to sing?! ha! if you're launching an album surely you'd be prepared to sing something... unless you can't actually sing at all and your voice is as enhanced as your looks

I'm not sure if I'm right about this, but I think young girls get botox to prevent wrinkles... ie. if you can't move they won't develop in the first place.

Spot on. I believe the 'ideal' length of time to have botox,should one want to prevent any wrinkles from ever forming is 10 years.

Watching the video of her,what was most unnerving was that her eyes and mouth move,but nothing else. That actually scared me.

Having said that,her surgeon seems to have done an okay job. None of it looks bodged.
