Help With What to Wear to a Costume or Themed Party

if you're lazy (like a friend of mine was), cut two eyeholes in a white sheet and go as a line of coke.

if you have access to a small stuffed animal, wear all black, put duct tape down your outfit, put some fake blood on yourself, tape the animal to yourself. you can go as roadkill.

My friend once went as a table

She cut a piece of cardbooard round, attached a table cloth and cut a hole in the center for her head. Then she created a picture frame out of a headband to wear so she looked like a picture on the table. Then she added miscellaneous items to the table... anything you might find on a side table for example. It was really funny But kind of a b*tch to hang out with her that night because she kept running into everybody with the damn table... oh, and she won money in the contest

I like the Corpse Bride idea though.. it's relevant. My sis also went as Carrie one year. That was great

you can't really see the tail properly but you get the idea... maybe?



Or you could go as a member of the "Lost" cast... formal distressed... y aknow the ads for lost?

How to dress like a Bond Girl?

My friends are having a James Bond theme party this weekend and I have no idea how to dress like a bond girl, if anyone could give me any advice or anything that would be amazing, thanks.

Haha...this was one of the themes of our uni freshers nights.

I went in a slinky gown - like there's always one of those parties in a Bond film where the girls are in gowns ready to seduce or be seduced by Bond. That's the easiest one to do. Or you could do ACTION/feisty Bond girl (think Denise Richards). Catsuits or bikinis - if you're brave enough!

A really 60's bikini with a knife tucked into the waistband. A black sequined dress that'll be easily removed with minimal effort, or a black catsuit. I think a black button down with sexy black pants and some stylish sneakers is a very modern Bond-girl look. Or if you want to be edgy an all leather outfit with a corseted top.

i wanna dress up as mia wallace from pulp fiction this saturday. i have the black wig and everything.the problem: does anyone know what i can do so that it looks like the syringe i bought is sticking out of my chest? i don't know how i can make it stick!

Fancy Dress

So here is the dilemma, this weekend I’m invited to a party. Normally this would be a fantastic proposition where I could wear one of the many items that I have bought over the last few months but not yet had the chance to wear.

The problem being though that not only have the hosts decided to make this party a fancy dress party, but they have decided to have a theme also.

The theme that this party will follow is ‘Religion’

I’m really stuck for ideas that are either completely unoriginal or ridiculously unflattering. I can’t see me making a good impression to anyone that I may meet whilst dressed as a monk.

So that’s where I turn to you people. Has anybody got any ideas for an outfit that I could put together over the course of this week?

- You could dress up as an ancient roman?? Toga...sandles etc.
Thats when the Bible was set I think.
- You could go as Gabriel, the angel.
- You could go with someone as Adam and Eve.
- you could go as satan
- You could go as one the ancient greek gods...
zeus (ruler of the gods, lord of the sky, the rain god, has thunderbolts which he hurls at those who displease him)
poseidon (god of the sea - he has a trident 'which can shake the earth, and shatter any object')
hermes (he leads the dead to go to the underworld and is the fastest of the gods, think winged sandals, a winged hat, a magic wand)
there's also apollo (god of music, light, and truth), ares (god of war), hades (lord of the underworld)


Hope this gives you some ideas. I was stuck by the theme at first - but you can make it quite good!

I think you should be satan, you could just wear a suit, and style 2 pieces of your hair to be like "horns." It gives you a lot of flexibility, (you can just mess the hair out as opposed to taking off a bunch of red makeup or similar) and if you meet anyone important you will be looking good. B) Also if you want to continue the party after somewhere else you won't be wearing a robe or anything crazy.
