High Waisted Jeans #1

High waisted jeans is one of those great trends that only look pretty on the runway, because I think it's more acceptable to have edgier/more unpractical/larger than life clothes. But off the runway, when I see people wearing them, I am just reminded of terrible images of Simon Cowell

I want a pair of highwaisted pants but I don't think that they would suit me.. My body is now shaped after lowwaisted jeans so my *lovehandles* wouldn't look good in highwaisted jeans =(

Skyscraper jeans

first the skinny jean and now apparently with low rise jeans dying behold the skyscraper jean. These are the next jeans style apparently that will be big according to insiders within the next few years as low rise jeans die out , but unlike the soccer mom jeans which are high waisted and tapered and which no one will wear, the skyscraper jeans are high waisted and have wide leg or straight wide leg so they look flattering .....think chloe jeans.

Alot of people talked about higher waisted jeans last year, and that didnt really make an impact. Chloe jeans are really high, and since society is moving more and more towards accentuating the butt, I think it will be hard for low rise to die so quick to high waisted ones...maybe a slight move towards higher but not that far removed from the low ones.

i disagree

in 2003, chloe came out with skinny jeans tucked in boots when no one was doing the look now today that look is copied by a gazillion people. well people are scared of high waists because they associate high waists with mom jeans but they are sexy sophisticated jeans , also it takes time for mainstream to adopt a trend . anyways here is the picture of the mom jean and the skyscraper braided jean.

those high waisted tapered mom jeans are hideous but the other high waisted parallel jeans is very very flattering makes your legs look a million miles long and the yoked back hugs your butt , bye bye low rise.

Don't find high waisted attractive at all. Just don't think jeans will go any lower that's all.
