I prefer the high waisted shorts. The 70ties huge leg jeans are horrible. There are some skinny jeans with high waist which I like.

i have worn both high waisted wide legs and skinnies , i think they are both good and sexy , but the wide leg/straigher leg ones are much more comfy and wearable ..and I think people are making a decision based on a some celebs who havent worn this trend right (coz there isnt much variety as of yet in high waisted jeans...) ...but celebs will get it right , eventually, JLO has she has worn both high waisted wide legs and skinnies and looked amazing , so has ciara as per TRL

they make that girl look HUGE. that is why I won't be participating in this trend. that's exactly how i looked when they were in style and everyone is insisting i lost a ton of weight wearing skinny jeans, when really..i didn't.
i think the cuff being so wide makes the girl look dumpy

^Yeah, those aren't the most flattering tailoring, for normal sized people atleast! They're just fully baggy, whereas lots are fitted at the top (like skinny jeans) but flare out. or, are skinny all the way too.

I like those miss sixty ones ..something really rockabilly about em

Cheap monday's jeans are ugly as it is, and doing a wide leg jean ,it has to be cut more precise....these are nasty.....I love wide legs but these are just WRONG......

wide leg jeans have to be cut like trousers otherwise it looks bad....but i prefer them to skinnies any day when they are cut like trousers,,,they are 1000X comfy and it hides so many flaws.. well anyways if your going for a more 70s vibe yet sleek at the same time.....these jeans from 18th ammendment look awesome , and for curvy girls its like awesome, and these are mid rise ( 9-9.5 inch) ...high waisted relatively speaking...

just wanted to add my experience with CM to counter the hate. :]

they look fine on me, imo. no camel toe, not even near tight around the crotch. i appreciate this feature with a lot of unisex jeans--e.g. the extra room in the crotch without the puffy-area when i sit down--can't even say that much with some Women's cut denim.
SO, i appreciate the way Tight is cut on me and i like the option of 32'' or 34'' inseams.
for the 35 usd i paid for them, they're definitely worth it.

No offense, but I wont spend upwards of 200 dollars for what I consider crappy denim just for a cut that I can get with Cheap Mondays at 65 or 35$--or with Nudies for 100-150$. Also, looking at the front-rise on other denim in this thread Cheap Monday Tight falls right below my belly button = highwaist for lots of folks (even you with those Dittos).


To be honest, I don't see how the denim looks horribly cheap from the photos I posted, it feels cheap for sure and is obsviously stretchy, but when I compare the quality of CMs to, let's say, Urban Outfitters house brands like Lux or BDG... lmao--CMs are on that level if not better.


EDIT: I genuinely wonder if you think they're cheap-looking or poorly cut because they are cheap in price? CMs are most definitely worth the money paid for them, lol--which doesn't say much.

i tried these jeans out in in Denmark ...2 years back and and those strech f*cking jeans (actual brand ) ...both were nasty , i mean you might have skin tight fit , but material feels like sh*t, i had given up on skinnies when i tried siwy skinny jeans..they were fit and were soft and comfy like butter.......CM jeans feel like cardboard..anyways more power to you if you like this....i have moved onto roomier more flattering cuts ( for me) ...........
