ah so many to choose from!
sabrina fairchild in sabrina
frances stevens in to catch a thief
odile in bande à part
tracy lord in the philadelphia story
cher in clueless
gidget in gidget (the first one)
princess ann in roman holiday

Brad Pitt from Ocean's Twelve...dressed to kill while going on heists around Europe with an effortless swagger, and I get Catherine Zeta Jones at the end, what more can one ask for?

I also wanna be Gordon Gecko from Wall Street...i'll probably never pursue a career in finance but what a rush sitting in that office must be.

i would love to play Angelina Jolie or Winona Ryder's character in Girl, Interrupted
but there are so many.
great question!!

the girl from the Notebook
Penny Lane from Almost Famous

oh yeah! Penny lane!!
that would be awesome....i just remembered who is my top: Sarah Michelle Gellar in Cruel Intentions, as Buffy isn't a film!

Wow, good question Scott....and a difficult one as well. I have two I can think of right now, the first is Albert from The Birdcage (Nathan Lane's character) because even though I'm not too keen on the drag part, it would be so much fun to play that character, and I think I have what it takes :P

The second and probably more challenging role I'd choose is Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribean, though I highly doubt I could measure up to Johnny Depp's sensual, ambiguously flamboyant, lovably eccentric portrayal, I can try can't I?

That would be an amazing idea! I love Jack Skellington. Another character I'd like to play would be in a real-people version of Alice in Wonderland... directed by Tim Burton, maybe. I would want to play one of the singing flowers, or maybe the Queen of Hearts...
Side note, that sounds like a potentially amazing idea.

Oh my,I missed that idea from Cosette. I think that would be an amazing, spellbinding, updated story.

Spike413 and Scott, thanks! I really do think it would be brilliant considering what Tim Burton is capable of. I can imagine it being so soft, fantastic, and magical but with that familiar twist he puts on his films that would leave a true mark on an audience. He's the only director I can see being able to pull it off. I've been thinking about it for a while now, and imagining who could potentially play all those wonderful characters.

About a year ago I heard a rumour that a version of Alice in Wonderland was in production, and Marilyn Manson was set to play the Queen of Hearts:blink: ... I was shocked to say the least, but it doesn't look like that rumour had much truth to it. Did anyone else hear that?

I heard the same thing. I dunno,I actually find the prospect of MM playing in such a role rather perfect. His image over the years has quite the fairy tale, freakish charm

* Gigi from "Gigi" (note that there's no "L" as in Gigli)

* Sarah Michelle Gellar as "Alice" in the macabre upcoming version of American McGee's Alice -in wonderland-

*Aeon from Aeon Flux (I saw the preview w/Charlize!)

Ahh yes, that trailer did spark my interest as well.

As for the Tim Burton idea, I definitly think Tim could tap into the darker parts of the story so well in his beautifully macabre way without losing any of the story's charm or whimsy. I'm thinking Johnny Depp could make a great Cheshire Cat.

^ that would be fun:woot: who would you cast as Alice ? I just  this crazy idea! karma for you guys:flower:
