what kind of candy or sweets do you guys bring, ones that won't make you feel all bloated and gassy.

I've flew on a private jet before and honestly dressing for comfort is super important ... you should just change before you land! Nobody cares if you look like crap on the plane ^_^ Have fun on your trip!

Whenever I travel it's from Australian heat in the summer to freezing cold snow. I usually just throw on a pair skinny jeans (I have a stretchy pair that is comfy and perfect for flying), t-shirt, jumper and some uggs. I hate ugg's as much as everyone else fashion wise but they are so perfect for 8+ hour plane flights where my feet have to be toasty warm on the other side.

I usually avoid eating on planes, I just snack on some Starburst chewy sweets. Make sure I drink a lot of water and I usually spend 80% of the trip sleeping. I find that if I don't go to sleep by body just end up feeling really crap from the flight.

Can anyone recommend a really FUNCTIONAL but uber chic weekender bag/tote? I need one that can fit my laptop, mags, pashminas, toiletries, etc.

I can never fall asleep on planes. I'm always just so anxious to get to my destination. Anyway I'm bringing a printout that iLoveCouture posted pages back, and if I get any sh*t from anyone I'm shoving it in their face!

I'm bringing this serum, which is only 1.0 oz. I dont want to chance it being thrown away because it's $600 so I may just pump some out into a container, but if they allow anything under 3 oz...:innocent:

I guess I cant fit that serum into the quart-sized bag. I just filled it up and here it is. Now, can I have a seperate plastic bag inside the quart-sized bag?

whatever you put into that bag don't matter as long as it's under 100ml. i got no clue how much a quart is, international regulations say that it's supposed to 1 liter at max.

defiantly take your iPod

I can never sleep either, and I don't mind flying. I suppose it's just all the noise.

The Komfort Kollar. Used this on a recent long haul flight, neck didn't hurt at all.

I always overthink everything. I'm laughing at myself in the posts on the previous page. Nothing untoward happened at the airport, though for a second I did drop my Chanel bag with all my travel cash in it.:ninja: It was under a chair, which I had to sit on to readjust my boots.

I'm going to dominican republic in 3 weeks. this is what Im taking with me on the flight:

evian spray - to hydrate my face. use it as a toner.

aquaphor healing ointment - to keep my hands and lips from drying out.

estee lauder daywear plus multiprotection antioxidant spf 30 normal/combination - I'll apply this before I get off the plane, because it has sun protection and the sun in dominican republic is STRONG!

wet wipes/hand sanitizer - to keep the bacteria away. you never know if somebody sick sat in your seat before you.

pashmina - to keep myself warm, because I ALWAYS get cold.

snacks - I hate airplane food. I'd rather bring my own.

oh yeah, and my ipod - to keep myself positive, calm, and in a good mood. (I'm a bit scared of flying.)

For flights I've learned to keep it simple, I always go in sweats and always bring a hoodie even if it's the middle of August I'm always FREEZING on the plane. I like magazines and I bring my ipod but other than that I'm not too needy. My one friend always brings crayons and coloring books though and they do help pass the time even though we're not 5 anymore :P

For long flights I bring a pillow & a blanket and then the usual : laptops/ipod/book/newspaper, it depends on what I bought at the airport. I don't have a specific "travel gear". I just try to wear no jewellery, no belt, nothing fussy/complicated, basic and comfortable but still pretty. If I am wearing heels then I have flats in my carry on bag with an extra blazer & scarf (I am always freezing in planes too)

I agree with the following
- wet wipes/hand sanitizer - to keep the bacteria away. you never know if somebody sick sat in your seat before you.
- evian spray - to hydrate my face. use it as a toner.

I agree with that wipes/hand sanitizer
are essential.
Once I did forget those and
it was horrible.
I might have been little over dramatic
that day but still

BOOK. Never travel without book.

Earplugs.

Moisturizer, lipbalm and brush.

Water and own snacks. I hate airplane food.

In my in flight makeup bag I always carry:
-Chapstick
-A small thing of moisturizor
-Hand sanitizer/ or wipes
-Deodorant is always a pretty good thing to have for long flights
-A solid perfume
-Mascara and eyelash curler
-Tooth brush/tooth paste
-Small comb

Others:
-Always travel with a book and some magazines
-Ipod
-Snacks
-Gum for when the plane is taking off and landing... don't want plugged ears!
-Journal/pen
-Camera to take pictures of the beautiful sunrise/sunset while in the air
-Scarf and sweater because I get so cold on the plane (plus the scarf doubles as a blanket)
-Also a lot of the times if I'm not doing carry on luggage then I'll pack an extra outfit in case my luggage goes missing because more often then not the airlines loose my stuff

Okay... well I guess I have a bit of large travel bag! I like being prepared while traveling.

During a flight all I care about is peace and privacy

Eye mask
Ear plugs
Face mask (this keeps chatty people away like nothing else as you look contagious  but it's also good for limiting dehydration)
Cashmere wrap which normally goes on my head to stop drafts :ninja:
Aspirin

Then, for just before landing

Pack baby wipes (full body wash), toothbrush, set spare underwear
Full face clean / makeup stuff (always put on at my seat and never taking up limited bathroom resources, so inconsiderate when people do that :innocent:)
Very large black sunglasses

i never wear makeup on a flight, even if its just a short domestic one.
for long flights i need:
*face wash. i stronger one than i usually use on my sensitive skin, because i always break out after i fly, and i always feel dirty on aeroplanes. i use it at any stop over
*moisturiser. my skin feels so dry from the strong aircons
*toothbrush/toothpaste
*baby wipes for a semi body wash

then i have my non-cosmetic type things like ipod, magazines etc.
