Has anyone seen the current batch of black bags with the new GRGH? Just wondering if it's the thick and smooshy leather or the thinner, shiny leather.

The boys always say it's thick and smooshy because they know that's my favorite.

i would email them and ask. sometimes their wording in their initial email might not be 100% clear.

i have seen BL irl and it is gorgeous. i didn't feel it looked too much like outremer, but that picture proves otherwise. i felt BL was more of a periwinkle irl. a very saturated periwinkle at that, but outremer has always been more of a dark electric blue to me. other pictures online (though not comparison pics) also show BL to more of a periwinkle.

thesiren: I saw bleu lavande today in person as well and it is a very saturated periwinkle color. I saw it in classic hardware. I believe that a bag color can look different based on different hardware used. There also are different tones/ranges within a color. I also saw coquelicot and it is a true cherry red, just gorgeous and not a loud in your face red which I am not fond of.

coco - i thought my eyes were playing tricks on me because the comparison pic from tpf made BL/outremer look so similar, but we are def right. i went back to see the bag and it is def periwinkle, though a deep periwinkle and has prominent lavender undertones. outremer is straight up bright blue with no purple tones whatsoever.

I was wondering, how do you guys keep your bags nice and clean? Especially when the lighter bags like LV Azur get a bit dirty; that is one of the things stopping me from getting an Azur because life is so unpredictable at times.

For those interested, here's some feedback on the choc alexa and medium black ps1 from J. Very happy with both. The ps1 is a great medium size and I like the leather. The choc alexa leather is a good thickness. At first I wondered if the brown color was too uniform (almost painted on, if that makes sense) though I'd seen some chocolate bags in the Mulberry store like that, so I think that might be a new bag thing. However, I gave it one coat of leather revive (with lots of working it into the leather by bending it around etc) and it really softened it up, and now it's nice and smooshy. The choc brown is still uniform, but it just looks so much better and more worn in now.

Just got a chanel chain around medium messenger from jacky... it's gorg! So happy w her. I know a few people have already ordered this bag so I guess this is proof that the quality of this bag is consistent. Here is a mod shot. I had no idea the bag would be this big. I'm 5'2 and I had to tie the chain as well. Wish it was smaller for going out but it's not breaking my heart

Need Advice Please!! Should I purchase leather conditioner for my Alexa Cabbage or just use her and hope she softens? I really don't know what to do. As a tip, she is gorgeous and I am really impressed. I wanted to buy the Oak as well, but heard too many complaints of the color and leather. Please help!

Hopefully she will start to stiffen up with use and get a little tan..She is waaaay too white. Now..to baby oil or to let it go naturally?? hmm..Any questions about this bag, please feel free to PM. It seems really nicely made as I have tried on the authentic many times in the store. The only thing that bothers me as it does with all reps is that the red glue is a little too red but with this bag it's not that noticeable. Hardware is sturdy. Lining perfect. Stitching perfect. Zippers run like butter. Gorgeous, slouchy everyday bag if you like large bags.
