@Amethyst_Sparkle... you know what? Strangely, the hardware issue doesn't bother me as much as the pocket! LMAO!!!! Weird. I know. And honestly, Bubblegum TRULY is in the top 3 of my 6 HGs... I guess I should just roll with it, eh? I'd hate to miss out on this color over something silly...

that vein-y galet is dreamy.

05 was when i was a bal nut and i remember bubblegum being brighter than the one t&d are doing now, at least according to images. it wasn't as pop pink as sorbet, but it wasn't as pale as the bubblegum they're showing on ioffer now. this is just my memory, of course. obv GH did not exist then, so when they said it was "bubblegum" i just figured they were calling it that they way they were calling the pale sage "cypress."

I found a seller in TaoBao which I think makes the best Birkin, with many types of leather to choose from (Togo, Clemence, Swift, Box, even exotic). But the price is around $600 -$700 and more. The seller only accepts Western union tho'.

The Western Union thing is pretty common.

I have used EH. I like their prices and the quality of their leathers. I bought a black rep with white metal hardware for daily use so that my auth could be in pristine condition for luncheons and occasional outings. It took forever to have a repair done to my auth in '08 when it was damaged by airport security on a trip to attend my mother's funeral. The rep has help up very well to the daily abuse.

Oh no, Russler1. I feel like I had a hand in that because I had a good experience. Mine is so soft and "chewy" as the girls say. I guess that I had ordered so long ago that maybe they have changed their leather. So sorry you don't like it. Try returning it, if not I hope a leather conditioner will help?

aw thanks but it's not your fault. I know it's always a gamble. I guess I'll just use it for bad weather days. It's a nice color at least. lol

the leather is amazing and very soft but not thin.
Its more like the authentic bags, its also very matt and a true dark black
Also has the exact amount of distress i like

I guess it would depend on the lighting. For example the Praline could be your match but it looks so different in all pictures I've searched.

BTW: the mirror for bubblegum is wrong. If the boys are doing 2005 or 2008 bubblegum, there's supposed to be that silly pocket on the mirror.

Coley I got my gorgoues bubblegum in on Wednesday. You shouldn't pass this up. They are sending me a new mirror cuz the mirror they sent me didn't have a pocket. They notified me they would send the one with the pocket with my bleu lavende. Honestly I didn't check here when I ordered it and didn't even realize there was supposed to be a pocket lol. It was awesome that they notified me that it was wrong otherwise I wouldn't have noticed since I usually don't even take them out of the packing just keep them wrapped in the front pocket. Anyhow here are some pics. They NAILED this color! Best representation of the color and true color IRL is the pic against the white blanket. It's my fav pink! I will put more pics up in the reveal thread but here is my work! Couldn't be more happy definitely a perfect pink no salmon undertones at all.
