Oh god guys, I just bankrupted myself paying for my VdE bags and now I'm having classic cold feet before I get them sent out... GGH or SGH?!

I know ame_sparkle <3 and a few others were loving the GGH ten or so pages back, and I DO love it... but that SGH just makes the colour so cool and spring-like! Just to put things in perspective, my current collection: Praline GGH City (most used bag by far); Sang-that-is-Pourpre GGH Midday; Outremer SGH EC; Framboise RH First. I'm also getting a VdE RH Day. I wear a lot of pale colours, pink and blue especially, have blonde hair and blue eyes. I'd be so grateful for any thoughts! (T&D blatantly totally hate me) >.<;

I like RH the most, and then GSH cos I think it makes it a lot more wearable Both are awesome though!!

^ i like GSH too! i've already ordered an RH city but that photo is SO tempting me to get something with GSH... i definitely think the GSH makes vert d'eau really wearable and fresh looking. the GGH makes it look rich and luxurious. depends what look you're going for.

so i'm thinking of getting a vert d'eau GSH work...but i'm paranoid bc i just read a post on Garance Dore's blog saying that carrying bags in the crook of your elbow with your fist in the air is very 2005/showing off you have money. am i silly for letting this worry me? do you guys carry your bal bags in the crook of your elbow?

So a couple weeks ago, I had a problem with the latch on my black PS1 coming away from the leather. As suggested from a couple people here I brought it into my local cobbler. He said he could put filler in and be able to recut and reattach the latch. I go in a week later to be told it should take another day. I come back the next day and it appeared to be fixed, upon closer inspection it was indeed showing the same signs as prior to bringing the bag in. I was told to come back a day later since the manager wasn't there that day. I went in yesterday and the manager said he tried all he could and won't be able to fix it. he at least refunded me the full amount. I have contacted Jacky and he said to send it back. I guess the plus side is I didn't lose from having or trying to have it fixed here but I'm afraid by sending it back, Jacky will "fix" it like they did here in the US and I definitely lose the shipping sending it back. I guess it is a risk I'll be taking.

the same thing happened with my ps1 and i just used superglue and glued the leather back into the metal thing. its lasted a few months now and seems to be ok. you could try this and ask j for credit for another purchase? unless you have already sent it out! im not too sure how it can be fixed properly though! good luck

ohhhhhhmy-do I understand you correctly do you have pay for the shipping back to J? even though it's a faulty bag?

uiggu-I wear blue, pink, turquoise as well I would definitely go with GSH for VD it looks more casual and all around better IMO

Is anybody else interested in this color?

Also, I was so tempted by the VD that I didn't even think about how I would wear it during other seasons. My wardrobe is predominantly black and kind of indie rock and roll so I'm worried that the VD GGH would not go along with my style and I won't be able to wear it once summer is over. Thoughts?

i advice you to get one while you can. i used to have maldives which is very close to VD and i used her a lot. i didnt think i would. it will totally fit ur RockNroll style. i dont really follow "winter/summer" rules.
