have no fear for those who need to change their alexa postman's lock. i did it myself and it's really easy. if your lock is loose or wobbly, ask j to send you a replacement one, instead of sending your bag back - it will save you some postage!

chicadee, how did you do it? If you can show me, I am going to ask him to send a few replacement locks along with the fixed bag. I wasn't too sure how to do it and since it cost me only $10 to send the bag back to him, it wasn't too bad. He was only going to send the lock to me with my next order. Thanks in advance.
For those who are thinking of getting their Alexas, and if chicadee can show us how..just remember to get Jacky to send along the replacement locks.

^ sure... the back of the lock looks like a file fastener with 2 prongs and you just bend it out at an angle so it slides out from the bag. the prongs are made of metal that you can bend. then just slide the new one back in at the same angle you slid out the old one. you will see what i mean when you are physically doing it - it's actually easier than how i'm describing it

Although many of you seem to be very anti-birkin, I'm actually considering getting a 40 cm birkin from omas I think they are the closest to the real deal. Is there any of you who have some experience buying from them. They seem to be so hard to deal with through emails, I've asked for pics and specs and they don't seem to understand english evry well.

Hi papeete now that you've mentioned Birkin's, I've been also looking for a good special Birkin, i had Omas replying but their CS is not good, i found out that Fangs has also very close quality (ok maybe a bit less) and a bit cheaper around 800$, there is this other place perfxxxxms.com similar to Omas but a bit cheaper too ( i can PM you of you like).

Aren't they gorgeus those special Birkin's! I think only those kind are good reps, as this bag is the most difficult one to replicate.

Jacky and Cattty before and have been pleased with their quality. However I so want to buy some new bags especially 1 in sorbet and was unsure of how the quality of the other sellers compare to Jacky or Catty. Does anyone have experience with them and T&D, NBF, or buy&sell and could help me with recommendations?

Sorbet!

Ladies, my NBF sorbet GSH PT arrived 10 minutes ago...and I haven't been able to stop looking at it since tearing into the package. I've been The color is exactly what I expected and I am in !!! The leather is beautifully saturated and butter-soft, kind of like it's been conditioned a time or 2. It's a touch shiny but I have an arsenal of products for that B).

I'll post pics later but right now my 8 week old is waking up (and breaking my NBF concentration, brat!)

I'm so glad I was too late to change my order to a Twiggy size!!! Loving the part-time WOOOOT!

lucy92 - jacky most likely won't charge extra if you're already ordering other items or if you are replacing a faulty one previously purchased. or if you're ordering an alexa in this order, just ask him for an extra lock - he shouldn't charge for it

I ordered a Jacky Mulberry Neely in Tan. I saw the authentic one yesterday at Mulberry and it is so beautiful with the Rose Gold Hardware.

I am loving the framboise as well. Just can't decide which bag to order.
I have a Galet City w/RH coming to me so perhaps a Framboise Day.

i got home very late last night and didn't get a chance to snap some pics of my new Galet PT RH. The leather is very smooth and not bubbly like my anthracite. It is a tad shiny too. I didn't expect the bag to be so small...maybe it's because I got used to using my work...but everything swims in there even with a self made organizer. I will post some pictures of the Galet tonight.

Sorry my bad, I meant to say Sorbet. I think that Sorbet is a lovelier shade than framboise. Just my opinion no offense to anyone who loves framboise.

ohhh lucy92 that pic makes me hungry for sweets, i don't which i want more, the bag or the macaroons lol
my friend's PS1 from offercn is disappointing not only the size is smaller than the original, the bag's kinda broken only after a week. look at the proenza schouler logo drop down.
and fang sent me an email on their rose gold hardware, i'm not sure about the details on the hardware colour because they didn't send me more pics yet.

I hope the picture got cut out - I've never replied to something with a pic in it before .

Anyway, it seems to be a deeper pink than that. I'm trying to get good pics but the sun keeps going away over here.

no worries, it turns out the picture i posted is actually the new pivoine/mulberry color.
