Crystal7: The Alexa is the regular sized one. I already have an Oversized one in Oak so I wanted to try the smaller size. I love the smaller size as well as it can be a bag I carry when I don't need to carry much. I like the ps shouler bag in the khaki color as it works great for my wardrobe.

I think that Jacky will not charge you an additional $30 to add something to your order. Write to him now and advise him that you wish to add something to your order.

Just when I had my mind set on a Jumbo from Jacky I heard from some gals that it does 'feel' fake when wearing the bag... are they really not good? I heard the sides stick out and that's a shame but might be fixable. What do you guys think?
I used to hear only great things about Jacky's Chanels, they're supposed to be the best reps out there but I'm getting a little confused! Is it better to go with Catty or not?

i agree that T&D's pictures make the leathers look veiny but in actuality my galet was smooth and silky - just how i like it. i am confident that even though the black and anthra look veiny, it won't look like that IRL and especially after conditioning it

coco - thanks for the mod shots that plum alexa looks amazing - you wear it well! i think the regular size looks perfect on you. i can see the leather is nice and grainy - is the leather similar to the oak OS you got from j? and loving the ps1 on you too - it looks perfect for carrying essentials.

crystal - did you get the rocco with the strap? i'm waiting for his luggage color - can't wait to see his version!! i've been very pleased with his mulberry and wangs

diorkiss - for the price of jacky's chanel, IMO i think it's a great rep. however, if you want to go topnotch, you might need to look at fang's - she has different grades and the top quality one does cost a lot for a rep IMO. not sure if you want to spend that much on a rep. or you can consider catty's super chanels - those might be better quality than j's but also cost a bit more

Awh thank you Chicadee! :flowers: I found Fang (the tommy account right?) and her super reps are gorgeous but so expensive! I don't think I want to risk it, if customs got it I'd be out a lot of money... her cheaper Chanels look good though, I might get one of those! Or am I off just as good with one of Jacky's? About €200 really is the maximum I'd want to pay.

chicadee: The leather on the plum Alexa is divine and does not compare to the leather on the Jacky Alexa Oak. The leather on the Plum Alexa is very similar to that of my Authentic Oak Alexa. I am not sure where Jacky got this leather from or what type of leather it is but I feel it would be hard to distinguish the rep from the Authentic Alexa Plum which I have seen in person.

The pictures from the other sellers really do make me feel like I'm buying something fake. No offense, they're probably gorgeous in real life but their pictures just don't make me feel it! They don't make me drool or want to feel, have, carry and love the bag. Now this picture from Fang however definitely does haha!

chicadee- I would also like to get the rocco in luggage as well when J has it but when I asked him if the studs will be gold or silver toned on the luggage he replied gold maybe whoever is interested in getting the aw in tobacco can send him an e-mail and say it was only made with silver studs I will write him as well

also, I would like to order the mono vernis zippy wallet from J should I get the red or rose pop (pink) colored one? thanks

i think you should get the pink vernis zippy since you are a pink type of gal if i recall correctly

Kimkhuu- I agree I have also seen pics from TPF the Anthra RGGH PT looks like a gray without ANY blue undertones to it at all I am having problems uploading the pic now but I will try again later, love love love that charcoal gray with RGGH

I really don't want to get another anthra with blue undertones to it as I already have one from last year I wonder if the FW anthra will be a true charcoal gray without blue or green undertones?

Agree with you crystal7! The charcoal gray is much better with the rose gold. I might have to settle down with the black with RGGH.

T&D just emailed me saying they might have to drop the anthra city with RGGH if they don't get the numbers by the end of the week. They say only 9 girls interested and they need 20.

Actually, I just got a rectification from T&D, the situation is the same for the black city with RGGH. And by the way they'll only do the city style.

They need 20 girls for each by the end of the week otherwise they are dropping RGGH altogether. So this is a shout out to all you interested in RGGH, email T&D to let them know you're interested urgently otherwise they won't do it!

Bisoubis, those are Canard with RGGH. I believe only the bottom right photo shows Anthra with RGGH. The Anthra this season is a true grey without any blue or green undertones.

Oh, Finally found someone to ask! I've been trying to find a decent Oversized Alexa for a while now. I just discovered this thread and can't figure out how to go about ordering; I've browsed through tons of pages and just got confused. if you could point me in the right direction, I'd be eternally grateful.

After considerable thought and many hours yesterday researching other forum pics, both auth and rep, I think the monoo Artsy GM (possibly the MM but don't think so, looks too short for me). I saw someone carrying it in the mall one day and it made me take a double and a triple take...that says something for me.

Joy has had issue's with the bottom lining up, Catty has had issues with the strap lacing being too wide, f**g is not quite up to par either, I forget now what the detail was.

I do think J's looks pictures look pretty good. If anyone has time, would you mind taking a peek at his (both sizes, his GM doesn't show a pic of the bottom) to see what you think?

There is also some great handle pics to compare on completed e**y auctions that have really helped a ton.

So...opinions would be MUCH appreciated!!

be warned that the GM artsy is MASSIVE. i am used to big bags and the GM just swallows anyone who wears it. i've seen my very heavy aunt play with it when we were at LV and it was even ridiculous on her. you would have to be very heavy set and very tall (yes, both!) to look remotely normal with this bag. the smaller version is plenty big enough, i promise! try to find modeling pics at the other forum or try the bag on at LV before buying this bag. i love it too!

coco - your purple alexa is TO DIE! yowza! i love, love, love it! the color takes away the blatant utilitarian feel of the bag and the purple will be gorgeous with black and shades of gray for fall. i may have to try this one! you've inspired me!

The rocco in luggage/tobacco comes with both silver zip & brass studs and silver zip & silver studs, like Bagalicious found. I really want silver zip & silver studs (the other looks fake!!) So i sent this to Jacky:

"The authentic comes in two versions:

Luggage with strap, silver zip and gold studs
Luggage with strap, silver zip and silver studs

Would you please make the luggage with strap, silver zip and silver studs? Then it will be different for everyone who has bought your black with strap, gold zip and gold studs."

He said he'll consider it so puuuuuuurlese anyone who wants the rocco with silver & silver will you email him to ask him for that combo?
