Hi girls! Tonight I was just going over my nbf bags and I've always leave out praline and raisin from my bag rotation because the leather is so dry and puffy. I've never gotten around to get leather revive. So as I was just going thru the house to find whatever leather conditioner we had I saw in the back of the bottle that it had aloe Vera and glycerin. It just gave me the idea to use aloe gel (ones for after waxing) onthe bag. And boy!! It did smooth out some of the viney bits and even soften up the leather!!!

I tried it on the praline first and did not take pics. I'll have to try on my raisin tomorrow and record the difference. Hopefully after a few application it'll look the way I want it to!!

Yes! MANY times! They'll give you your tracking # if you ask for it but many times for me it's just been a wonderful surprise because I hadn't asked yet....

Lotti T&D said the wont be doing jackets a lot of girls have asked but they always say no.. I would not get a rep keepall thats jmho they dont make very good reps of the keepall.. The canvas is pretty thin and not thick like the real ones and the handles are not thick enough either and it just looks kind of off.I really like the Macassar Keepall on guys I've always wanted one but cant find a good rep

I was on the LV site and noticed that the bag that David Beckham is carrying is in fact the Monogram Waterproof Canvas because it has the black leather embossed stamp on the front of the keepall. I really like that little detail and that probably why I would get the Waterproof as opposed to the Macassar keepall. Thanks for bringing this bag to my attention LovedByChanel.

Ps. I do have a 50 keepall in the graphite and it does slouch as the leather is not as thick as the authentic.

NBF - Cord Fraying?

Question to you NBF owners... I have quite a few and have been using my outremers regularly. I've noticed that the cord on the handles are fraying!!! this is the first time this happened with an NBF and I have one (gray day) that's two years old.

Anyone else have this problem?

@Carta: Yes, the cord fraying happened to one of my nbf bags. If you tell T&D, they will send you a set of cords for free if you order another bag. Then, you can put the new cords in yourself.

I was actually able to piggyback the cords on an awesome TFS-er's order, which was really cool.

Yeah. I'm stoked about getting one. I'm not to picky about the state of it, I just want to see if it can fit seamlessly into my lifestyle. I know about the Cities and the Works, but I'd like to see how me and the Twig can get along!

I am happy with the keepall although I think in the near future I might just buy one of those hard plastic bottoms (the ones that help keep the shape so it doesn't slouch) if only I knew where I could purchase them and what they were called.

Okay im really starting to want a sorbet city like now hahaha I have a amy city on the way but now I want sorbet too.. Did anyone do a mod shot with a sorbet bag??? If so please point me in the right direction. I would love to see someone rocking it.. Crystal My black city isnt from this batch that t&d did I was told it was from some time last year.. PurseCharm welcome && what you are asking about is called a Base Shaper they sell them on ebay. I made one for my neverfull gm with a couple pieces of cardboard and just went over it with a lot of shipping tape so it was hard and sturdy

Thanks for the welcome and info LBC. Just to clear things up my sn is "PUREcharm" and I'm a guy . I might just go down to the local craft store and buy a large piece of thick plastic and cut that into shape. I wish there were more guy accessories being reviewed on here.

On another note, has any of the ladies here purchased a Giant Rose Gold Hardware Bal bag from T&D yet? I really want to get one for my lady in the Black City but I wanted to know if the GRGH is as good as the authentic.

Last, I noticed ever so often in pictures of Bal Bags there is a large heart charm hanging from the bag. Is that from T&D or is that purchased from the Balenciaga store?

I'm just trying to do all the research so I can get it all right for my perfect lady and all your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

in varying thicknesses and sizes....do you think you could make your own? If so,I would be inclined to slip it into a pillow case before you put it into the bag so that the edges won't wear on the canvas.

Ohhhhhh my Im sorry PureCharm T&D wont be doing rose gold hardware as of yet or maybe not at all idk but because they didnt have enough people.. Something about the zippers have to match the bag and there would have to be a order like 40 zippers per bag or somthing like that.. If you want to know more about that you can search in this thread and it will come up.. The hearts were sold on ebay but I dont think the guy sells them any more i've been wanting one also they are sooo cute.. They are called heart boobies I think and where under small leather handmade heart coin purse on ebay.. Hope this helps you some

Thank you so much ladies! I'm sad to hear that they won't be making the RG hardware anytime soon as that is the one my lady had her eye on. I guess I might just go for a T&D Gold? Not sure if that would clash with her tiffany's necklace in silver... hmmm
