HandbagDiva, thanks for the Black, Noix and Anthra photos. I have seen Noix in person. I am not sure if it was the lighting, but T&D's Noix is little bit different than the real Noix. I think T&D's color is one or two shades darker. I guess I am safe from this batch. LOL

edit: Just saw Noix SGH PT posted in the photo thread. That color is correct! I wonder why the sample color is so different than the one actually made. I really love that Noix SGT PT!!!

girls im choosing between a Nude alexa in python trim and the Black alexa in python trim
i like the nude but im afraid of getting it dirty and the bag being hard to match!

Plastikparty, go for the nude with python trim. The python trim will contrast more clearly against the nude lambskin. It's actually a neutral colour that's easy to match/wear. I agree that it'll get dirty more easily, but it's really pretty.

Question to you NBF owners... I have quite a few and have been using my outremers regularly. I've noticed that the cord on the handles are fraying!!! this is the first time this happened with an NBF and I have one (gray day) that's two years old.

Anyone else have this problem?

carta, I have Outremer velo and WE, on my WE the handles are fraing( been used ony 2 times) , I use my Outremer Velo a few times a week and the handles are like new.No idea why

That's what I thought too! The swatch looked very dark and wasn't the brown I was hoping for. Then when I saw pics of the actual bags, I fell in and had to have one!

Here's my baby after being treated once with Leather Revive. I'm blown away at how much softer the leather is! Mine wasn't super shiny to begin with but the LR made it even more matte and uber soft! I highly recommend it and THANK YOU to whoever it was who first recommended the stuff! I think it works a whole lot better than Apple Care and I didn't find the smell strong at all after airing it out overnight! Now if only shipping from the UK weren't so expensive... We should all do LR group orders and split the cost!

Btw, T&D's black leather is going fast so I wouldn't delay in ordering if you want one from this batch!!

I got one of my two orders in from Jacky today. I got two cuffs, an H scarf, the Wang Jena and Anita, and a Mulberry Hayden.

There were a couple of small QC problems, but I'm pretty happy as a whole. At first I thought the Hayden tote would have pebbly leather closer to the Rocco, but then when I checked the Mulberry website, what I saw was very consistent with the auth leather. The only thing that is a problem is the small circular Mulberry tag inside is sewed in upside down! Also, I can't tell from photos whether or not the oval plaque is supposed to be shiny gold or shiny brass (J's is a shiny brass). Other than that a nice bag, and leather feels great.

The Anita looks close to pics of the auth I've seen on some websites. The clasp at the top is quite good; it has a little too much black paint in the crevices and not quite polished enough, otherwise great match. The HW is a yellow-pewter color, perhaps not quite as brass-colored as the auth? But really hard to tell the true color of the HW of the auth from photos. J's particular bag he gave me has a smaller grain than some of the pics I've seen; don't know if the Wang bags have a lot of variety in the leather or not.

I would say the Jenna clutch is less "pebbly" than some photos I've seen, but again not sure if this falls under the range of variability of auth leather.

The H scarf is gorgeous and heavy and the colorway looks correct, but some of the finer "inner" detail colors are missing. You wouldn't be able to tell without scrutinizing it, but it's still a flaw.

I'll post pics soon when I get a chance. Two more bags are still to come....

What color Mulberry Hayden did you get? ^ I have the Oak one and the plate inside is not upside down. He had an authentic Mulberry Hayden to go off.. it's too bad he let that slip through the cracks.. Can you ask for credit?

BBS I love the noix now, the leather looks amazing... I need some leather revive. I agree us Californians should buy a bunch in one order to save on shipping!

Hi guys, I'm new to the tfs so just posting to say a quick hello to all. And thanks to the kind member who invited me

I have posted some pics of my noix RH day, noix RH work and black RH first to the pics thread for those interested. The noix are untreated, but I shall be de-shining them this weekend with leather revive which I just received in the mail yesterday. The pics are with and without flash. I'd say that the ones without flash better reflect its true colour. That said, I find that noix looks different depending on the lighting, so it's hard to really say one colour is more 'true' than another.

The black leather first has been treated with some kookai leather conditioner that I had lying around the house. It slightly decreased the shine, but the shine was negligible in the first place in my opinion. The leather on my first is thin, dark and the distressing seems pretty uniform to me. The bag is darker than the pic but has been blown out by the flash a bit.

Also, what you think of Jacky's new oversized alexa leopard? I'm liking the look of it, but I'm hoping that if I hold out he'll make it in the regular size, as I think that much leopard on my small frame might just be overkill (no pun intended!).
