I just ordered the Chanel Half Moon WOC from J, and I can't wait to see it!

Has anyone purchased Jacky's Chanel Half Moon WOC? I'm just curious about the quality and what it looks like IRL?

Also, can anyone familiar with Givenchy tell me about Catty's GIV angular bag, which I'm too lazy to post pictures of ATM.

FYI: I am STILL waiting on my bags from the boys with NO tracking numbers. They told me they'd get them to me and I've heard NOTHING. We're going into the three week mark...

... I think I'm sticking to pre-loved from now on or sourcing my Bals from other resellers.

I placed a huge order (for me and friends) from the boys, which is coming in 3 parts. I've had the first 2 parts but the 3rd part is over 3 weeks now. Apparently the delay is due to zippers (GGH and GSH anthra), dunno if this is true or not. But i have absolute faith that the boys will deliver!

ColeyX3: The boys will always say the bag will be sent "this week" and it never is. I know it's a pain but in my experiene they do always eventually mail the bag. You just have to be patient.

i think catty had this bag at one point...i remember someone getting it back when it first came out, so i'd check some of the past threads...
i do recall the navy not being as spot on in color as the original though...

i also have a T&D weekender and it's a great travel bag...

Thanks sucre03 and petitcherie... I really appreciate the support. *sigh* I'm only concerned due to customs and the fact that I live in a complex. I don't want my bags to accidentally go someplace they shouldn't. I know that's happened quite a few times around here.

... and I confess, I am supremely impatient at this point! I'm so used to J and Joy delivering things so quickly. (Esp our fellow bagmama fairies... stuff comes QUICK from them!) I guess I'll just have to keep an eye out.

coleyx3: I had the same concerns with my bag (I live in a complex and don't want someone elses grubby hands on my bag! lol). But even when i missed delivery, the post office held it and didn't leave it on my doorstep.

T&D didn't give me a tracking # until it had been about a week and I emailed them about it- they were pretty good at getting back to me with the number and even sent me a follow up email when there was an 'attempted delivery' to make sure I knew it was there.

However...the actual delivery took FOREVER and I was waiting on pins and needles to get my bag. I ordered from J a week after I ordered from T&D and I got my J order a lot sooner than my Bal.

On a side note: I finally got my anthracite velo! I'm hardcore struggling on how to wear this thing though- the color and shape are gorgeous but I may just not be a cross-body bag kind of girl. Oh well!

....ETA: LC's bag is definitely NOT '05 magenta. It has covered HW which wasn't available in '05. I'll scout some '05 magenta pics.

definitely. they are similar, but not exactly the same for those interested in either color.
