I may be interested in turquoise but when I type in google 'balenciaga turquoise' i get like 10 different kind of turquoise and don't know which one is the good one


I'm also interested in this prada bag from Catty but I cannot find what's the name of it ... I wanna make sure it looks like the authentic if this model was even made.. anybody knows ??

^^ fee, it's from Prada's Cervo Antik line from 2006.

fee, the model was made, but Catty's version of it is a bad rep. The hardware is the giveaway. The R on the prada is incorrect and the leather needs to be broken in a lot. Catty's prada sometimes feels rubbery.

Also, what you think of Jacky's new oversized alexa leopard? I'm liking the look of it, but I'm hoping that if I hold out he'll make it in the regular size, as I think that much leopard on my small frame might just be overkill (no pun intended!).

hi postmodernista - welcome your bags look lovely! i also like the print on Jacky's alexa, and I totally agree that it would work in regular size - having said that i'd really like to know if it is rough/smooth in texture - does anyone know with Jacky's calf-hair mulberrys?

Anyone purchased a Lanvin rep from Jacky? I really like the latest one he put up on his site; it seems to largish and sort of, sort of like a Nightingale.

If he'd update the strap, I'd get another Nightingale from him... til then the Lanvin is looking quite nice.

I have only read good things about Catty's Prada Cervo bags until boniquo's post. If you do a thread search and check the pics only thread you'll find more info. PinkPrincess has an absolutely gorgeous one from Catty that has incredible, slouchy leather. I'd ask Catty for more pics and ask her directly if it's a really high quality leather. She will tell you truthfully!

Hey all,

I'm looking at buying some type of luggage-y bag to use as a carry on for travel

So far I've been looking into a few rep options that I'd like to get all of your opinions on:

1. The LV keepall- I see that a lot of you are not fans of reps of this bag, so maybe it's out (I was thinking of getting a 45 with a strap probably from catty- let me know if you have any thoughts on this- either way)

2. Bal Weekender- Has anyone gotten one of these from T&D and traveled with it? I love the idea of having such a stylish bag but I'm not sure about the functionality of actually using it traveling/in an airport

3. LV Pegase- Might be too big for a carry on...but its SO pretty!

Any other good options I've left out? I just seriously started checking these out this weekend so I'm sure there some other good ones out there!!

Glimmer163- I have a damier graphite keepall 55 from catty that is perfect as a travel bag. I've had it for over a year and used it 2-3 times/week and it's held up very well. One end of the zipper got stuck a couple weeks ago and I had to take it to be fixed, but otherwise I love it. It's the perfect size for a weekend and it's great to squish into an overhead compartment. Catty's rep is VERY good.

I've also used my Weekender for travel and love it! It holds a lot and is easy to carry. However, I do worry about it more than I do my Keepall. LV canvas is so tough and can be bashed around without being harmed...an all leather bag isn't quite as tough. I love love LOVE the Pegase and also the different trunks and luggage pieces Catty has. Playing devil's advocate though, I have read many stories about LV luggage that's checked in, rep and auth, being stolen (if it's a good rep they can't tell). So that's something to keep in mind too.
If you're looking for a carry on, I vote for the Weekender! You can't go wrong with black RH or it'd be stunning in noix as well! I'm hoping and praying T&D do '05 magenta again bc I'd love to have a magenta WE!

^I originally wanted a GSH black city and they said a few weeks. They just finished Black GSH days. Just tell them you want to order a GGH or GSH black city and it shouldn't be too long!

Sooo - I dont know what to do. I finally took the plunge and ordered the LV SC bag from Jacky... I had a bunch of friends order with me so that I made the minimum - they all go their bags and Jacky said mine wasn't ready, but he'd ship it later - Now he is telling me to cancel the order cause he doesn't know when he's gonna get it!

I'm a little upset - I'd honestly rather wait a little while longer for the bag than to get a refund.

Anyone else go through this with Jacky?

Pulling teeth just to buy something from him!

The front plate is not like the authentic one. A minor flaw...if you go back a few pages, you will see.
