found the article by searching for the writer's names. Its all about news value since counterfeit products has been a huge problem. As a journalism student I would say that the writers phrased the questions in a "curious costumer point of view" so Joy and Catty would not suspect anything.
Maybe someone should inform them of the article?
I can only hope J doesn't change his site suddenly, I spent 2 weeks googling his site through his email address.
They have been informed already.
Too late...J already changed the site!
That totally blows about the Reuters article! Bummer!
On another note, my Rocco lost a stud on it's 3rd time out. I never did find it, so I can't just screw it back on. Has this happened to anybody else? I just emailed Jacky; I had a lot of QC issues on this last order.
found the article with a simple google search. wow. somehow I doubt Joy and Catty both willingly and knowingly participated in an "interview" with Reuters. sounds to me like these writers Melanie Lee and Doug Palmer pretended to be customers and duped our sellers into answering questions as to whether or not they fear being caught... this is just another reason why we should not be giving out seller info to the seemingly innocuous newbies who PM us raving about our "beautiful bags".
in other news, I received my A. Wang Rocco mini in Luggage from Jacky and just got around to taking pics. it's too small for my tastes but the color is spot on and the studs are on the bottom of the bag so I honestly couldn't care less if they're the studs from the quilted luggage version.
