I really love Damier Ebene too, I just e-mailed Catty for some more pictures (couldn't find them at her picasa) so I'll post those once I get them!

bagalicious how'd you get the patina going?? i have to agree i see NFs all the time. they are so practical though!

diorkiss those handles do look a bit long.... >.< you can get a preloved authentic speedy on bonz or ebay for ~$500. that's about 2-3 reps. if you really love it and are concerned with details i would save for an auth =)

Baga that's good news about the monogram. I might ask Catty to take a quick look at the bag before she sends it. Your monos are looking great by the way Is the piping starting to develop a patina too? I can't really tell from the pics.

And yeah, i can imagine why the NF is so popular- it's so chic, easy to carry and (in LV terms) relatively affordable

diorkiss, the speedy 30 looks pretty good, but the 35 has handles that are too long. those will also stretch out with time. so i would go with the 30 before I went with the 35. However, like PinkPrincess says, I would try and snag a used speedy from somewhere like Bonanzle. That's how I got my speedy and I LOVE IT. It's got full patina though, so I dunno if you want that. I paid $275 for it. Never underestimate the power of haggling.

bagchix - your Chanel flap is impressive! I need one now...haha! I love it when they make better flaps. Now, if only they nailed the reissue flap. The ones out there are way too puffy and not distressed right.

Glimmer163 - I totally empathize with you sneaking a look at your bag. I either look at mine swooning when it's a great bag, or I OCD when there's a detail I can't live with. Either way...I get distracted. Sigh.

Anyway, T&D have some bracelets available for purchase...I don't want to pay $25 for shipping though, and I'm not interested in current colors, so I am wondering if any of you ladies in the US would mind me piggybacking a few bracelets on your next NBF order? PM me if you can!

Hi coco109, I like the wallet you've posted. I don't mind one in Oak Leopard (not digging the pink!). I'll email Jacky to indicate my interest in it.

As for the Edna, is it a clutch or dainty shoulder bag? I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with Mulberry styles except for the Alexa and Bayswater.

Xooey: Edna is a shoulder bag. I would not call it dainty. I think that the measurements are 12 wide by 8 High by 3 " deep. I too want the Alexa Clutch wallet in Oak Leopard. I just can't find a photo of it though it is made in Oak Leopard. Thanks for writing to Jacky about it.

I noticed that too Postmodernista but I think it's supposed to be that way on the Speedy 30... Jacky's has it too and I saw a couple on tPF that also had cut off LV's at the top. Anyone know this for sure?

I'm joining you on the hunt for the perfect Speedy!

My auth Speedy 35 has the LV's cut off on the top portion of the side panels, where it curves up. On some styles it is inevitable.

madmurderermud: Is this a new black GSH that you recently received from T&D? If so I would send it back to them as that is not acceptable on a new bag. If it is an older bag you just got I would still write to T&D and ask them how much it would cost to put functioning zippers on the bag.

Olive looks good to me. The color is spot on. The shininess can be removed with alot of conditioner. I have seen some authentic Bal bags with shiny leather.

On another note Jacky is making the Mulberry Alexa Mini black patent leopard Print bag. I love this black bag. It is so chic.

madmurderermud have you tried rubbing graphite from a pencil over the trouble zip area? Apparently it works for stiff zips, and while I'm not too sure if it would help with a jammed zip, maybe it's worth a shot?
