Chupi, Sucre03: Thanks for the commiserations I was half expecting it, to be honest (Japanese customs are INSANELY strict and EXTREMELY thorough - and typically for Japan, the customs officers are well-trained in what to look for, esp. in Vuitton which is all of what I ordered >.<), but still, when I got the missed package note from the post office, I thought it had actually arrived safely... only to receive an envelope full of 'FAKES ARE BAD WE WILL BURN THEM' documents ;_; I didn't have to pay a fine and it didn't say I was on any 'customs hit list', but surely it makes sense for customs to check future packages coming in to my address? I have no idea what to do now. I'm particularly worried about my T&D bags, as a $220 bag is not something I can afford to lose. Considering having the bags shipped to my parents' UK address and then getting my mum to send them here via airmail - but at that rate summer will be over by the time I get my VdE and Sorbet, and even then Customs can still check packages from the UK rather than China... argh! Any solutions, anyone? I'm looking at you, people from Italy/Holland/other countries with strict customs!

Also, I've always wanted to ask - have you ever been to the famous rep warehouses in Guangzhou, or are those only for wholesalers like Catty & Jacky?

just to say that i ordered a work galet rh and a sorbet flat clutch with gsh.
The boys told me that the production is starting this week for the clutch and the bag should be ready in 2 weeks.
I can't wait!!!

Uiggu: Definitely get them shipped to your parents, I seriously doubt that customs would bother opening a package from the UK. They probably only opened your china package because china/hong kong are known for their fake goods. It would be so awful if one of your bbags got destroyed!

uiggu, I am sorry your entire lot of order got confiscated by customs. If you send it to your mum and get her to re-package it and mail it to you, I think the chances of your parcel getting confiscated by customs will be much lower. I think the country of the parcel's origin (China) + a dubious looking brown parcel of bags set off the red flags and made the customs officers examine the items more carefully. At least, if the items are sent from UK, the parcel won't set off any alarm bells?

I really want a PS1 off iOffer and came into this thread to ask if anyone ever had their bag confiscated by customs. And of course the first thing I read is uiggu's post. I'm really sorry that happened to you! I fear the Swiss customs would do the same thing if I ordered a bag from Hong Kong I'm normally against replicas and stick to knock offs if I want a cheaper version of a designer item, but the PS1 is so perfect and knock offs don't do it justice, that's why I'd rather go for a replica. I'm not sure if I should risk it anyway, even though 250$ is a hell lot of money for me and I'd be so sad if I didn't get the bag in the end

cornpops yes amethystsparkle got an ipad cover in sorbet and she described the leather as soft. sorbet is my favorite color pink ever! or pale magenta, but i doubt T&D will run that ever haha.

Hi Everyone!

So sorry I have not posted here in a long while, but my life in Beijing has been insanely busy!

Since my last post, here are the bags that I have added to my collection: Black Envelope GGH, Black First, Vert D'eau Day, Part-Time, Twiggy and Envelope GSH. I know that last combination probably doesn't exist but I don't care. This batch of Vert Deau is HEAVENLY.

Tomorrow I will be going on a business trip to GUANGZHOU. Guess who I'll be meeting for dinner and possibly a ballet (LOL!)......

BTW - The Boys say they are starting the second run of Vert D'eau so those who missed out or want more bags, PLACE YOUR ORDERS NOW. I may add a Velo and iPad clutch to my brood.

uiggu I live in Holland and have had plenty of NBF bags sent to me by now. I've asked them to ship DHL, I don't know how they ship your bags? When I got Uggs last year through regular mail from somewhere in Asia they spent about 3 weeks in customs. With DHL, they sprint right through. Maybe it's something to try out?
For sure your packages will be less suspicious if they arrive from the UK. They wouldn't expect fake bags to come from there. I hope you find a way to get your bags there safely!

Congrats! I think this is going to be an incredible looking bag! The pink leather that's been post so far looks beautiful and the first with the mini GSH is too cute. I would totally get one if I wasn't so obsessed with my Outremer City lol. Can't wait to see your pics!

I have to report that my Raisin Work feels DIVINE now! After four rounds with the baseball glove softener, it feels soooo lush! I'm breaking it in with sweats and my Complete Works of Shakespeare! Photos to come! Pssst... it's so soft, it actually PUDDLES now!

OMG seriously? My Raisin Work has been in my "DIY Leather Shop" for 3 treatments now and while it's MASSIVELY improved I don't think it's near your level yet. I must try this glove softener. Pics Pics!

All this leather voodoo is really just for the challenge though...I can't seem to get with the work style at all. I definitely need a shoulder strap!

My NBF Raisin GSh Work after some intense conditioning. It's come a long way and actually slouches pretty nicely now...I just wish it had some sort of long strap. So many of you look so chic carrying these in the crook of your elbow or by hand...I can't seem to pull it off.

I'm planning to order a Galet. But all I have so far from T&D are city bags, thinking of getting a part time this round. Could any girlies who own a city and part time, tell me the difference please? (they look fairly similar in size to me). Also, Im torn between SGh or GGH...cheers.
