Crystal: Will they not ship to you? On their site they offer worldwide shipping for £6.40, does it not work for Canada?

Saddle soap is great, but it is literally that, for saddles! My friend used it on her boots and it stripped the colour off so if you are using it test it on a tiny bit first and rub it really well. I've used it on old leather and it's fine but my friend's boots were new Nine West ones and whatever way they'd dyed them the saddle soap stripped their colour

I could order some to here (i'm in the UK) and ship it to you?

Thank-you Chupi they do ship to Canda, thanks for the offer I was just wondering if saddle soap would work as well, but I think its best if I ordered that product, also I know what your mean about turquoise that is why I ordered 2 last year a city and a twiggy that is how much I love that color I would probably other a 3rd if they make the turq again finger's X'd they will in the near future

hi crystal - if you are sensitive to smells (i remember the fang bag ) you might be sensitive to leather revive - it has a pretty strong smell. might be okay if you air it out for a bit afterwards but just a warning

I just received my Galet RH City!!!!! /skips around

The color is beautiful, I will take photos later. A few questions:

Has anyone noticed that the handles seem wider, and more rounded? And at the ends, the "shoelaces" (I don't really know what else to call them) that are woven into the leather get dangerously close to the ending because they rolled the leather at the end very tight which created less space on the handle, if that makes sense. The shoelaces are also thinner.

Also: Can someone please clarify if there is a flap of the leather inside the front pocket when you unzip it, instead of just seeing black fabric? I ask because the RH City I had was just all black fabric in the front compartment.

Call me crazy but my Galet city is smaller than the Black RH city I received. o.o I've stuffed it right now and it does not hold as much as my Black City when I stuffed her. I'm stuffing the bag right now as T&D's package looked like a loaf of bread. XD BUT I just can't stop staring at her color, though - beautiful! And the leather is eons different from how I received my Black city - the leather is instead smooth and silky.[/QUOTE] This is really it, I think I will be carrying her everywhere. The gray does have taupey, beigy undertones.

How gorgeous is this PS1 in Sulfur?! Argh I love pistachio shades! If T&D won't make Pistachio, I'd love it if Jacky would make this color. I also hope he makes the mini PS1s. They're so cute and look perfect if you need a little bag for errand running.

My Galet RH day arrived today! Finally... after harassing the boys for a tracking number it just happened to show up. And I'm the first to admit that I was anxious after the reviews of "shiny leather" and what not, but I love my bag-- now I just need to "oil" her up with some apple guard. I did note a few weird tiny little black dots upon really close inspection but I'm not worried. The tassels are also wrinkled so I'll have to re-shape them under a heavy book.

I have a well-used T&D Argent city and the Galet definitely has brown/taupe undertones. It makes Argent look slightly blue-ish next to it.

For anyone whose on the fence about the Day bag -- go for it! Previously, I've only purchased the city style bags and in RH only. I'm not much for the bling. Top best things about the DAY bag (vs. the city) and I've only had it for an hour.

3. It's possible to access inside the bag from your shoulder and slouches immediately
2 You could hide a small child in it -- or maybe a toy dog but I wouldn't recommend it.
1. The interior zipped compartment is larger for all sorts of goodies

Hmmmm, I think I'll carry the Galet. The color is absolutely gorgeous. Sure she's a bit shiney, but I don't mind.

I was wondering the EXACT same thing. The leather on the front pocket is weird. I also thought both my VD and Galet cities were smaller than usual. Weird.

Anyone with cattys chanel comment on the stiffness of the leather? I have a few of jackys 2886 caviar and lambskin but they don't hold their shape as well as a vintage jumbo I got from him last summer. Boo

i have a lambskin chanel from catty that is pretty soft...
i've never had a caviar one to compare it to, but i've seen some other lambskins at the chanel boutique here and her leather is on par with that...

chicadee-oh my goodness thank-you for pointing that out the smell would definitely bother me I use UNscented everything I am very sensitive to scents guess I will try the saddle soap, I will try it under the alexa flap first to see if it's okay before I do the entire bag

pinkprincess- did you ever get your Sorbet? I really love mine now tomorrow it gets one last coat of leather conditioner I am wondering if the boys have any more left I am thinking of the twiggy style would anyone happen to know?

cherish: for the front pocket - with auth one you can see leather inside when it is unzipped. and with T&D bags that I have have - they seem to be always have the leather in the front pocket though. HTH

I received my Sorbet Velo and VD City today, just compared my VD City with my old Amethyst City from T&D and they are exactly the same size, VD City is not smaller

Gorgeous bags, ladies. Actually, T&D told me that they did make it a tiny bit smaller as they made some "small adjustments" to the bag so it would better match the auth. They said they took a closer look from an auth city they had and made the "necessary" adjustments! I have noticed the rivets are different too. Pardon my language, but the bag is ****ing BEAUTIFUL. The leather is so silky.

Here is the reply I got from the boys when I asked about the size difference between my Black City & the Galet City:

"Oh I forgot to say we have tightened up the City.
The measurement are all correct now because we have only recently adjusted the any small measurement that we not quite right.
We have used a real City for all the measurement.
Hugs"

Whatever it is, I adore the shape/size of it now, though they are minor tweaks.

Mini PS1 Update: Jacky just e-mailed me out of the blue and said he will be trying to make the Mini PS1 based on the photos that are floating around now. Eep, what should I reply? I'm sure that everyone wants one that is true to the measurements that are going to be released; we don't want a PS1frankenbag.
