I've just received my first purchase from B&S aka Tracy and I can't be more pleased than ever!! The leather to my Pommier Work is amazing and comparable to my auth 2008 magenta, though it is a little too shiny. No worries on that, i believe time will take some shine off the bag! The workmanship is impressive, in terms of the leather quality and stitching! Needless to say, the colour is breath taking! Check out the link for the pics and i jazzed them up a little with some of my scarfs! according to a friend, this is one of the latest trends in japan for balenciaga bags

Ouch Catty's SC looks.. not good. Those pics could be really really awful or it could be the bag itself.. The handles look off and the whole thing looks off to me, must be the material?

I'm wanting a monogram LV galliera PM. I don't know if I should risk it and go with Catty, but after the whole piperbelle galliera azur fiasco I don't know if I should go for it. On the other hand, LovedByChanel's galliera is from Catty and looks great. Here we go with the lottery... should I just go for the auth or has anyone had any luck with Joy's or J's galliera?

From looking at pics only - my DA Galliera looks just like lovedbychanels (just without the deep patina which will come over time). The squares are in the right place I think and the strap is the same as the auth according to a member of another forum I am on where we just disucss reps only. Hope that this helps!

yea, catty's sc's are far off from the authentics (both her leather and suede)...
for starters the asphalt suede is not black, but a gunmetal-ly grey color...
even in the pic from lv, it looks dark...if you've seen it in a store or even in the pap shots of kate moss, you can see it's grey...

i wonder why sometimes jacky is all about making suede bags (like the ps1), but other times says no...
he's done the sc bag a few times, and every time it sells out...

I've got a question for the LV experts on the board. I would like to get a Damier Ebene Neverfull but have no idea what seller does the best for this bag. In the past I've ordered LV from both Jacky and Catty and I had no issue with either bag but I don't know anything about what makes a good LV rep... Anyway, I'd appreciate any advice you kind folks might have to offer. thanks

I apologize, I inadvertently made a huge error by making a new user name (JGould) because I hadn't used my other one, (HandbagDiva) for so long..and 'Diva' didn't really suit this very casual mom anymore. Mods merged both names. Being a butterfly-filled rep newbie didn't change though!

I didn't know it was against tfs rules..

Anyway, to stay on topic, I am glad to be here soaking up as much information as I can about rep bags. Still pondering a Work or a PT--pretty sure the Work will win I am seriously considering ordering one from B & S as Bagaholic's and Limmiet's Bals are so very gorgeous! Vaca coming up at the end of the week, without computer , & I will have plenty of time dream about the possibilities while I am away.

I can't wait to share my reveal when it comes!

Sometimes pics can be deceiving. A few months bag I asked J for a pic of his lv sc. I ended up passing on the bag because the pic looked off. My friend has the auth bag and the leather was completely different which was soft calf leather like butter. But, later I changed my mind and went for the bag because of the pics posted a few weeks ago. I think that member's (sorry can't remember her name) pics really set off a frenzy for this bag. It's amazing the power of good pics. The bag is gorgeous - superficially the bag is really close to the auth. The leather isn't the same as the auth but who is going to come up to you and pet your bag?? My bag was slightly damaged in transit but I decided to keep it anyways. It's roomy and it's been my "classic" go-to bag recently.

And, I also ordered chanel lambskin jumbo from Catty. It looks great - nice and puffy. The stitching alignment is off (my only real issue) -- but structure wise it's nice and tight looking. There are some other slight differences from the auth but I can live with it. I wonder if any rep's alignment is as good as the auth. Probably not. I've read countless times that Chanel is the most difficult to rep.

Just a note regarding my experience with jacky's printed calfhair bag I got a couple of years ago....

I got the ysl light leopard print calfhair muse he had a looong time ago. I had seen the auth in vegas and loved it-silky soft calfhair with supple leather-really pretty irl.

I must say that while his print was really accurate, the bag came feeling almost damp and I had to hang it to 'dry' for a couple of days before I could use it. Because if this, I think the calfhair may have stiffened up and wasn't pliable and flexible like the auth. The hair wasn't as long as on the auth either.

I wore it some and hoped the stiffness would subside or break in but it never did so now it just hangs in the closet

I just thought I would give my honest opinion for the fans of printed calfhair (like me-I love it!flower:

So J (as in Jacky) had the good rep of the SC Cobalt? I have purchased from him before, but overlooked his SC because it does not look good in the pictures. Glad to hear the feedback from a "mommy" --I guess pics can be deceiving. I'll check his site out again..

HandbagDiva- Yes, Crystal has a magenta RH city from Tracy.. If I remember correctly it did have the correct bales compared to auth. T&D's were not. I think they corrected them now though- limmiet took some pictures comparing her galet city to the older raisin city's bales.

PinkPrincess - AH! I would have loved a blue envelope clutch but I didn't get into the style until recently! I also have a Black GGH Envelope. Honestly I love all of them. Black is the classic one, Galet is my summer/fall neutral, VD is my bright and refreshing option.

diormouse - Hee!! I totally agree abt the boys' iPad clutch design I don't have an iPad... yet (haha) but I'm going to use this as a regular clutch. The tricky thing is, it can only hold thin-ish items.

I have just received my latest orders from Jacky. The items ordered were:

Hermes CDC cuff in grey with silver hw
Hermes Kelly dog cuff in black with gold hw
Mulberry Oak OS Alexa
Mulberry Nude Regular Alexa with python trim

As you ladies know, I have done a previous order of Alexa bags from Jacky. This time, the OS Oak Alexa is totally different! The leather is soft and grainy (not pebbled, but has a slight grain to it). It is EXACTLY like the auth! I don't understand why Jacky has differing leather type for different batches of bags.

If anyone wants to get the Oak Alexa, I'll suggest that you get it now. But make sure Jacky gives you the correct batch.

The Nude Alexa with python trim is gorgeous and perfection, as usual.

I am loving the Hermes cuffs. They are soooo pretty!

I'll try to take pics for everyone later.

I've always thought I'd want the oversize but now I'm wondering whether the regular might be better suited to such a delicate coloured bag which I could use on dressier occasions. The oversize might be to big and better suited to day use?? Thoughts?
