boinquo well said! you already know that I think this idea would be wonderful. There are so many fees and ioffer can be such a hassle. I'd really like to shy away from using that site because of how many fraudulent dealers and buyers there are. (didn't a girl recently post a dispute?) We're all somewhat familiar with each other and it would be much safer if we just stated in our siggys that we have some bags up for grabs, without making it look like a marketplace. from there on out, everything would be through PMs. This would be helpful toward those who want to clear out a few items (like you, boinquo) and for those who like a good deal (like me! )

To do so will be taken as spamming.

but what if it were just a note to say that you buy/trade without a list of each and every item you have to offer? A small note could be given and everything could be settled by PMs.

I do understand the rules of the forum. I once got scammed out of a $600 purchase and I don't want anyone else to be in that situation. Ioffer just feels shady and I'm sure people don't buy stuff because of it. I know it's considered spamming around here, I'm just seeing if others have any ideas. We don't make any money when we resell our used bags or bags we don't like. For me, it's sometimes a 3:1 ratio of bags I have to sell in order to get enough to get another rep. It sucks, but I prefer this than accumulating things I don't like but I know someone else would, and would prefer to get them from the us than to wire money.

Here's some pics of my recent T&D purchases. Both are cities. Gorgeous leather on both. The anthra was conditioned twice with leather revive and noix 3 times.

The only pic with flash is the first one for the anthra. Both are perfect. Only 2 flaws on the noix (external zipper is very difficult to close because the end is crooked and on the strap, 2 parts of the stitching are falling "bumpy".

I would love to know her quality also. It would be nice to have another seller in which to buy bals from instead of waiting for whatever colors t&d decides to make. There's only one other seller that i know of in which to buy them from but the prices are comparable to t&d. Myself and another girl on here have bought from them if you would like their info

i list my bags up ioffer too. there are many nonTFS members that want to buy old NBF bags, and their only way is ioffer. even if u put it in ur signatures, they still cant PM you if they are not a member. we prefer paypal gift only, which if you ask for that in ur ioffer listing, which will not make much difference. i agree fee for ioffer is high, but if someone already a member of TFS, they can PM you here after seeing ur listings, you can give them little discount
anyways, I think listing ur bags on ioffer will sell faster . i check ioffer for "new" used bags everyday, and bought quite a few through PM too

A review on Jacky's Bottega Veneta Nappa Intrecciato Roma Woven Leather Bag

I have been in and out of BV stores while in Europe on holiday and have given many a "Roma" an autopsy I have always loved this bag. BV is such a classic.
There is no way I can-will-ever be able to buy this bag from BV as it is $3.000 + change...SO...enter Jacky.
I am thrilled..I have to be honest I was expecting very little as the bag is so intricate, But I am really impressed with the workmanship and quality.
The measurements are good, the HW and nuances are all there. He does it only in Black and Brown which is smart. The leather is SO soft and it feels and smells great. I researched this bag quite a bit, and have to say he did a GREAT job
The inside has 3 suede " accordion style" beige lined compartments and a BV tag and correct serial number.

Gorgeous bagalicious!!!! I just bought 2 bags from Jacky....Rocco and Ps1....LOVE them!!! They really exceeded my expectations as well!! I did own an authentic Wang at one time, so I knew what the authentic looked and felt like. So glad I took the plunge....and so is my bank account!

/\ Jacky is the bomb! Glad you're happy with your bags from him.
His Wangs and Mulberrys and some of his PS1's are second to none..They really can slip under the authentic radar IMO.

The leather looks shiny in some pix, but it might be just reflection? Is it matte and smooshy?? THANKs~

Fanbao26, the bag is not at all shiny. It's just the pic and weird lighting. And yes it's the most recent run of anthra I just received. The anthra is perfect.

Baga, thanks for the Roma review. I have been "haunting" that bag on Jacky's site for quite some time now; glad to know it passes your muster! Maybe I will add it to my next order.....I sure do love BV, and it's nice to know there are good quality reps available at a fraction of the price of the real thing.

I don't think lambskin "'05" bags would be a dead giveaway at all. How many people would be able to tell from looking? I just prefer the feel of chevre. I like thinner, matte, silky leather. I'm like bby and don't like thick bubbly leather as much. If T&D nail '05 magenta color wise, I'll be happy regardless of the leather, but my HG would be chevre. And pinkp, I would go NUTS with exciment if I could get a black RH City in chevre. It would be the perfect forever bag!! Anyway, all that said, money talks, there is power in numbers yada yada so I do think we should all beg and plead with the boys for chevre bags.

kimkhuu: OMG! I'm lusting over that anthra City! What a beauty!! My leather revive is on it's way and I can't wait to use it on my noix City! Leather revive seems to be the best for mattifying and making the bags supple. Thanks so much for the pics!

Yay! I'm so excited that jacky does a good job on BV. I've bought a lot of Bv reps and have always been disappointed. I guess it'll come down to how it breaks in. Bv gets better and better after use.
