Chanel from Catty

This is the medium lambskin Chanel that I've purchased from Catty a few months ago. I'm no Chanel expert, so any input on the look of the bag would be greatly appreciated. The sides don't stick out and the bag looks really nice. It comes with a box with a ribbon and a dustbag - very well packaged! I like the thicker CC vs the thinner ones.

so jacky seems interested in making the chanel olsen tote. i need to send him pictures and give him a price. this is the hard part.

in the meantime i'm looking for a chanel modern chain tote. the one with the metal chains not the plastic. does anyone know where i can find one these days? i know it's an old style but i just rediscovered it and i'm on a mission.

Finally got my Bal PT GGH from NBF!!!

Its so pretty I keep looking at it out of the corner of my eye at work....



Leather Question:

Yesterday I went to NM to check out auth Bals leather and the ones they had there were really stiff - is this how they're supposed to be...it felt SO unappealing and looked bad. Do they get more smooshy over time or did those Bal's just suck?

sickofsushi: As far as I know T&D have one noix city and one noix bracelet w/gsh. Write to them and ask them about it. Good luck getting your bag.

The leather is divine but the colour is more light then aspected....however I love it so much.

Hellokitty: Your bag is lovely. I actually prefer this shade of Anthracite as I own this shade in a classic day bag. I don't much care for the Anthracite Steely gray that is out now in the Bal stores. This is a perfect blue gray. Enjoy your bag.

bagchix - your Chanel flap is impressive! I need one now...haha! I love it when they make better flaps. Now, if only they nailed the reissue flap. The ones out there are way too puffy and not distressed right.

Glimmer163 - I totally empathize with you sneaking a look at your bag. I either look at mine swooning when it's a great bag, or I OCD when there's a detail I can't live with. Either way...I get distracted. Sigh.

This bag is gorgeous!!!! I've owned several authentic Balenciaga black bags....I ended up selling all but one because the leather turned green, grey, or was just pretty crappy leather. From what I've got from T & D, their leather is actually better than Bal. You don't have to baby it as much and their dye does not turn colors like my authentic did. My 07 Black city actually turned into a greenish black. I had to dye her. I bought all by Bal's straight from Bal here in Vegas. I was quite disappointed. I have one authentic black RH city that is gorgeous from Spring 10 that I will keep. So far it has kept it's color, but the corners have rubbed......
