New beauty

Hi all,

Here's a pic of my new Saddleback Leather tote bag. (www.saddlebackleather.com)

I'm selling all my NBFs...after many years with the boys, I think I'm done.

Of course, that is unless they come out with an HG that I don't know is my HG yet. I think I'm just tired of a multitude of bags and just want one or two go-tos and an evening bag.

Huh, are the sellers trying to circumvent customs issues around this time of year? Or is it just the backup? Would be nice if anyone who ordered from Jacky around Nov 13 could comment on the time it took for them to receive (if they have) their order.

i ordered from jacky around the last week in november and i've recieved all my items. including one bag that shipped on Dec 5th. it was all shipped thru HKP and arrived super fast.

If you have a tracking number you should request that the shipping company trace the package. For example, HKP has this posted on their website and I'm sure other companies have a similar service:

"To make further enquiry of this item, please complete the Online Enquiry Form or send the item number; the details of sender; addressee and contact information by fax to Mail Tracing Office. Our fax no. is (852) 2868 4723. You can also email or call our Mail Tracing Office at (852) 2921 2211 during office hours."

Have you tried that yet?

No, I hadn't thought of doing a trace. I have nothing to lose I suppose at this point. I didn't think about it much before because I was afraid they'd find my package, and seize it because hey, there's fake bags in it.

I hope they do another run of galet, I wanted an ec w ggh so bad. Anthracite wasnt the shade of grey i thought it would be.

Customs is very strict right now. So, he has to ship to one company that will ship to another, before it is shipped here. And, yes he is charging more for the safety of them getting here.

I have received my packages from him since Nov. 13.

ZenEssence, do you know why? My tracking information from Nov 13 still hasn't changed from "accepted at hk origin"

introducing my newest twins baby girls (and ultimate holy grail), bois de rose RH city, GSH first, GSH coin purse and moutarde RH coin purse!
the leather on these recent batches (moutarde, BDR) is absolutely, 100% ridiculously amazing...seriously the same silky delicate ultra luxurious that the april '09 batch of vert d'eau (chevre!!!!) is known for--but even better.

I got my Chanel reissue from FangFang! It's a good bag. I also got a medium classic flap from her. Good too, but was expecting a little more. All the new NBF's look gorgeous!

thanks! well, the bags didn't come with logo dust bags or boxes, just the CPs.
and i can't say for sure this is going to be the norm now (like for the holidays--great for gift giving!) or if it was just a fluke, but i was certainly and pleasantly surprised. merry christmas to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! finally, my favorite color!!!

boinquo!!!! When did you get these beauties?The bags look amazing!!!! I am still waiting for my caviar Jumbo black bag. It's still saying "has left country of origin" since Dec 5th.... Normally my orders get here 5-7 days max. I know it's long cause of the holidays! You make me want to get the reissue. Such a lovelly bag!!!

amethyst_sparkle, I am sure the coin purses will make lovely gifts with the cute boxes. Bois de Rose is def. much lighter than what I thought. such a pretty color. I personally stay away from such colors, not cause I don't like it, it's because my jeans always transfer to the bags.... It even stained my noix!!! Enjoy your new T&D bags.....! All soooo gorgeous!

AS, your bags and small goodies look amazing! I ordered a BDR RH City as well, I hope mine will be just as beautiful. I think I'll get a GSH CIty as well if there will be any left in January because I cannot spend a dime more this month
Which pic do you think captures the colour the best?

Wow I love the bois de rose GSH cp, it's adorable. I have 2 cps already though and don't think I need another one haha. I'm trying to think of what I can put in another CP....I wish they made a bois de rose GSH money but they said they ran out of time this year.

Is anyone else buying bags (preferably in CA) that a CP of mine can hitch a ride on so I don't have to pay extra for shipping???

So the new anthracite looks gorgeous. I'm wondering if the previous run of anthracite sucked. The leather was on the thin side and the coloring wasn't close to anthra 2010. Was that on purpose?

shoptfs I just got them today at work! I love them. I just need to air out the slight fake bag smell. The thing I noticed the most is the super soft leather *lining* of the bags. The classic flap has great leather outside too, feels very velvety.
