Here are a couple of comparison pics of the two batches of Amethyst. I have to admit I prefer the leather of the 1st batch.

The 1st batch has really thick and veiny leather, very smooshy. It is brighter and much more saturated than the 2nd batch, more eye-catching.

The new batch is more purple than pink, the leather is very dry and kind of hard. I hope the dryness will disappear after conditioning. Oh, I have to add that I think the colour of the 2nd batch looks A LOT better in pics than in real life.
