Isabel Marant Menswear F/W 2024.25 Paris

the use of purple and lilac is the best thing of this presentation.
she almost got me with some of the first looks.

It's giving Celine's "Dancing Kid" on a student budget. The purple and lilac looks are lovely though.

I know this kind of person, and I've met several of this kind of person. Do I like them? No. Therefore I do not like this, except the lilac. A lovely shade of it.

Love it! But I am a sucker for Zara-esque clothes so what can I say.

At least she has moved on from the 80s lol , I can see the Kirk Cobain like model and an ode to early 90s

Just like everyone else the purple is the standout for me. I dont mind the presentation either.

Barnabé Hardy has always been great for knitwear…
I find it funny that in her womenswear collections, Marant continuously reference Nicolas’s early 00’s Balenciaga collections while having the menswear director of the Balenciaga collections of that era in her studio….And yet, no trace of the Balenciaga spirit in the Isabel Marant menswear collections.

Some propositions are borderline Juvenile here. Even Sandro does not dare some of this stuff.
