It's part of ganguro, a trend in Japan, that I think is on its way out. Hopefully the trend in the US with girls bleaching their hair and wearing fake tans is also on its way out.

That got me thinking, did those ganguro people become friends because they were tanned, or did they decide to get tanned together?

It's funny how they don't make friends with "white" normal looking ppl, but ganguros only. Anyway i think ganguro guys are even worse than the gals.. They often use pink make-up like the girls..
I really hope this trend goes away very soon..
