Jeans Tucked Into Boots?

Hmm, I'm not sure...it's a little overdone here...

love it!
I remember yeares ago, two girls were staring at me because i was wearing my jeans tucked into my boots, and they were going: is she wearing riding boots?

I´d bet those girls are doing the exact same thing at the moment.

so sad  :innocent:

Sometimes I'm glad I live in the hinterlands - no trend is overdone here!

I love this look. No one has caught on here, and I always get a ton of compliments when I wear my boots like this.

I like the look- sorry to be a bit fat-ist but they look bad on anyone who carries exess weight. you have to have pretty skinny thighs to get away with it. They look terrible on JLo for example.

THis look will always remind me of an ex boyfriend. SO in general, yea, on me, nay.

Just make sure you have the body to match

eta but yeh done right, it's hot!

Tall boots over jeans look??

The Vogue/Style web site has an article on wearing knee high boots over jeans (tucked in).

I like the look! But....is it too way out there (you know...only seen in fashion magazines, etc.) Or do some of you ladies wear this look? If so do you wear stiletto heeled boots or flat heeled boots?

Definitely NOT too out there. I love the look

I wear it with both heels and flats depending on the event and the mood :flower:

I don't like the look. Or at least not in the way a lot of girls are doing it here.

Definitely!!
And I love the combination of skinny jeans and flat boots!!

Between them, boots (cowboy, riding, flat, wedge) and denim are laying claim to a big piece of the fall fashion landscape. And though you may feel like you've seen every possible variation of each under the sun, here is an entirely new way to put the two together. These ingenious jeans from Thirteen Denim feature a built-in sock that eliminates baggy knees, bunched fabric, and—worst of all—broken zippers. The line comes in several fits and washes, and two different sock lengths for different boot heights. Everything you need, in other words, to keep on tuckin'.
just a little article from style.com. i think its pretty ingenious:smile:

^sorry, this goes with the pic^_^

I think it can be kind of cute as long as the boots are structured and nice. I don't like slouchy boots tucked into jeans, and it can look really wrong if the jeans bag badly around the knees.

it's a fairly classic look, though it's shifted fom being a classic for men (a la mr darcy and horation hornblower:P) to being a classic for women. I personally can't do it. I'm quite thin but calves are too toned...I can't fit both my legs and my jeans into my boots.

/\ I where skinnies whith my kneehigh converses, I have to look my age so please don't beat me up!
