Jeans Tucked Into Boots?

love it!
I remember yeares ago, two girls were staring at me because i was wearing my jeans tucked into my boots, and they were going: is she wearing riding boots?

I´d bet those girls are doing the exact same thing at the moment.

so sad  :innocent:

People at school laughed at me when I wore my jeans tucked into my boots; one time these girls in my class where making fun of me until the german exchange student they were in love with gave me a complement. How quickly minds are changed.

I love doing that -probably from a trillion years of riding horses- but I wore dark AG Angel jeans tucked into a pair of round toe stacked heel tall black boots that I bought while I was still in High School (24 now...) with a red puff sleeve shirt that has cartoonish skulls and a slightly creepy nurse on it... I looooved the outfit, I felt like a rock and roll girl all the way but my bf laughed at me! I'm going to screw up my courage and do it again- I really loved the look!

I like this look:

i love this look.......
it always amazes me how many people view it as 'out there'.....ive never seen it as a provocative move....

it just changes things up a little...
and can be a great way to show off a really great boot without having to wear a skirt....
keeps you warm and looks stylish....

i love skinny jeans for that reason...they're so versatile.....can be tucked easily into anything....
i wear them tucked in to a flat shorter slouchy boot or a high-heeled tall boot for the evening.....

I've been telling my mom all summer I want a pair of cowboy boots. She was like "No offense, I find those kind of weird. I don't think anyone wears those." Then in the carpool line, she sees this teacher wearing them and says "Its really nice to see a teacher who can dress so stylish."

I frequently lace my big Dr. Martens over my trousers when I am biking to work. It keeps the right pants-leg from getting into the chain, and it keeps my legs warm when it is cold in the morning. Often I will leave them tucked in all day, even though I think it looks a little dorky. It is a huge PITA to unlace those boots, take my jeans out, try to stretch the wrinkles out of them, and then do my boots back up.

I often wear fairly baggy corduroys and cargo pants, so it looks a bit military or kind of like riding jodphurs, but I'm more concerned with convenience and practicality, and I figure with the inevitable oddness of the rest of my outfit, maybe it looks a little bit punkish.

I have been wearing this look for as long as I could remember!!! My bf loves it as well, he calls me a super hero. High boots are my passion, and I love skinny jeans.
This look is just me..

I like that look! I make it my own with skinny black trousers or skinny dark denim jeans and black suede kneehigh wedge-boots. Fits me great!

Is 43 too old for jeans-tucked-into-boots look?

I bought some great chunky sweaters and a couple long ones for belting, and know that this look goes well with skinny jeans tucked into tall boots. I'm 45 and wonder if that look is too young for me. I'm pretty confident in my dressing and don't mind pushing it, but I don't want to look silly. I'm in OK shape with hips that could maybe stand to be a little trimmer. Any thoughts? If I AM too old, can you suggest an alternative bottom for these sweaters? Thanks!

Hey, if you have it, why not? :D However if you are not comfortable sporting the jeans tucked into boots thing, maybe try getting a boot cut jean that will go over a boot with a stacked heel. :flower:

As long as you feel comfortable with it, and are happy with the way it looks go for it! Lots of older women can pull off trends like that, and if you feel confident wearing them tucked in then I think that shows and you will lokk great.

If you don't feel confident about it, you could try bootcut jeans like suggested or wide leg trousers. I think sweaters go with most things, so experiment with what you have and see what you like best:smile:
