Kate Moss For TopShop

3800 items selling on ebay (and counting). this is sooooo crazy!!! and ebay makes a whole lot of business out of this, if u ask me, ebay is the real winner here!

Has anyone else got unusually tiny sleeves on their garments? I brought the Pansy Print Blouse in a size 8 and the sleeve stretch is literally as wide as my hand. When I put it on, my arm movement feels incredibly restricted. Is it just a manufactoring fault or is the whole collection cut this way?

the clothes look really ugly on 'real' people, the dress&red jeans combo, the shorts

after watching Mr Green's interview on cnn, two days ago, i decided boycotting TS for good

he may be a succesful ($$$) businessman but his way of understanding fashion of manipulating 'style icons' and achieving 'free' promotion for his rubbish brand is making me sick

plus he just can't handle criticism, which shows how insecure he must be feeling in reaction to the bashing reviews

Also take into account jane shepperton's departure, which was not entirely pleasant, and I'm with you on this one. Well, in principle anyway! Unfortunately, I sometimes can't resist the boutique/design stuff.

I enjoyed watching the video :). I still cant make up my mind about the dresses =/.

the catwalk queen tv pics are really unflattering...

and im sick of reading about how things were civilsed. they weren't. there were certain girls who pushed themselves from way behind me in the queue to right next to me...and one tourist decided, when we were waiting to enter the store, to push in, and wouldn't leave even after we told her you needed a green wristband to get in...she just get giving us evils and pretending not to speak english...then the security guard kicked her out.And actually, that blonde catwalkqueent girls was one of the girls who pushed herself forward-she wasn't right behind me when there were still quite a few hours to go, but by the time we were going in, she was always right there. hmm, magically transported?!

what actually happened to jane shepperton.. do you know

But adjudicating Madonna or Lily Allen's skill at cross-stitch is not the point of these ranges: it's to let customers dress up like them.

This is particularly true in the case of Kate Moss, whose range for Topshop is overtly based on her own clothes. It's a bit of a rum proposition, seeing as Topshop has made good hay out of copying Moss for years, but I guess at least this time it has her overt blessing.
from the Guardian article of today..

i've put up a link to the Guardian article here at tFS trendspotting forum
feel free to visit and discuss the recent celebrity designers overload

Not really, but I've heard rumours that it was to do with Mr Green and his business style. Sorry not to be more informative!

And /\ thats a hilarious article.

It is really exciting and insane at the same time...

I wonder if Kate is planning some huge change of her style... she "designed" (and sells) clothes which she is wearing every day and now it would wear thousands of people all over the world.. so where is originality and individualism? :(

Has anyone got the yellow and black striped jeans? I really want them but they weren't in the shop near me to try on.

I wonder if any idiot out there would actually buy it from ebay!!

Has anyone received a shipping date yet?

I ordered a pair of black shorts and other non-Kate Moss items last night and received an email from Top Shop today (early afternoon) with the parcel tracking number. Hopefully I will receive it tomorrow.

gone down the plughole!!!!!!!

Haha! You can't really expect too much individuality when you shop in high street stores like Top Shop. Unless you don't live in the UK or another country that has Top Shop.

Hmm, I'm in the states and I haven't received confirmation yet, and their customer service number for us customers has been down all day. The funny thing is that I wonder if I was the first person to make an online order:blush: . I logged into topshop at 11 and literally a second later the Kate Moss link came up. I threw the one item I had in mind into the cart & did quick check out by like 11:02:lol: I knew if I bothered taking the time to look through all the items they would probably sell out or the site would crash.
