Kate Moss For TopShop

I finally bought boyfriend blazer and I love it too! :D:p I still haven't worn the 50s dress and stars cardigan, though.
I wore it with top hat print tee and it was very comfortable and looked gorgeous

Miu Miu - I am glad your enjoying your new buys. It's good to know that some of the pieces are working out well. Maybe you'll post pics later? My broderie anglaise jackets arrived in London this morning but I have to wait a whole week to try them as I'm in Paris until then!

I like the way Kate wears Top Shop to The Metropolitan's Costume Institute Ball while desperate fashionistas wear vintage Dior ballgowns and flouncy Balenciaga, yet Kate always looks the most effortless and chic. Similarly Angelina Jolie wears dowdy line St John (who she is a spokesperson for) but still looks ravishing.
You can put a stylish or beautiful girl in a sack cloth and she can still look oomph!

i was in topshop today, not impressed! i can't believe the polka dot bandeau dress is £150!

i got the stevie jeans in oxford street today..not from the new collection but great anyway. the new collection is disappointing. ilove kate and all but this collection is overpriced and the styles are kinda off...i dunno...:( but this is just my opinion!!!

^I've always wanted that one. sigh. The previous collections were so loved. I've seen that cropped leather jacket for example on so many celebs and well, the collection was just so much better. This collections seems to have a lot of items you could find in any random store. I don't see how Kate 'designed' this.

i loved her fall collection really much. i like this one too, i haven't seen all the pieces yet tough so i don't judge yet.

the fall collection was leagues better than the spring stuff , then again im never a really a fan of summery type clothes but the clothes look kind of cheesy , whilst the fall clothes were sleek , wearable and glamourous

I'm going to do a full review on my blog, but I just received my items in the mail. As far as quality the Broderie Anglais dress is on par with Banana Republic/JCrew items here. So I'm sure that tells you the quality of US items and how much we pay. With the conversion the price is standard with Jcrew & Banana Republic also, around $120 for the dress.

It is a size too big, but since it looks to be permanently sold out I'm going to have to suck it up and deal. While with my height I probably need the extra inch this size allows, but it runs big in the sleeves, shoulder area. Otherwise I'm happy with the color, but just know the fabric is a bit sheer, so you'll have to add a slip underneath, which is a pain in summer when it gets hot. The belt is leather, which would probably never be so in the US for this price point.

The blue daisy dress was not as I imagined. Mainly due to the fact the dress doesn't open up in the front, as shown on Kate Moss. It runs big too. I wrote Topshop and they are reimbursing my shipping for that item and I'm returning the dress.

I received my order yesterday: boyfriend blazer, striped flared jeans, striped cardigan, and lace-front skinny trousers, and I've just returned the striped flared jeans today. Before the delivery arrived I had always imagined I would be returning the lace-front skinny trousers but they are surprisingly good!! So comfortable to wear and slimming!! On the other hand, the much-anticipated striped flared jeans don't look too great on me. Maybe I'm not tall enough.

I love the striped cardigan. I was expecting the material to be a bit thicker but it still turns out fine. It looks fab with skinny jeans!! Quite slimming too!

As for the most-talked-about boyfriend blazer, the quality, the style and the fit is all good but I just came to realize that it's not really me. I think I much prefer non-oversized blazers, of which I have a huge collection. Seeing this blazer is completely sold out and seems to be a real limited item, I decided not to return it to the shop but to sell it on eBay. Might be able to profit a little bit to relieve the credit card balance. :D

My local Topshop still has loads of the daisy tea dress, the 50s style dress, and the embroidered pinstriped jacket. I'm not interested but I just thought they were really popular and would have been gone already?! I'm also surprised by the fact that the suede fringed waistcoat is completely out of stock online. Another question is why Kate Moss always insists on releasing HOTPANTS in her summer collections. Shorts are great but HOTPANTS? How many people can really put them off like La Moss does?

thats too bad about the daisy dress not opening in the front...

i think that topshop probably imagined that the daisy dress would be the most popular item...

i dont know why the hotpants are popular in the UK at all. first of all the weather isnt necessarily good for hotpants (unless you are taking trips to ibiza etc)and secondly they dont seem to be getting much $$ on ebay at the moment either.

i dont live in the uk. and can never get any of the topshop items online.

blind item

there was a blind item that flat out called out that Kate went in her closet, took like all her clothes and dropped them off at Topshop=that was her line. She flat out didnt do ****.

Has anyone seen the leather jacket from this collection - and can describe it or perhaps has a picture of it?

that leatherjacket looks cute! i can imagine myself wearing it... i hate that STILL they dont ship here...
