When I first heard that Katie Leung was casted, like many, I was thought that they did a shoddy job of casting. However, after looking through this thread, seeing her on the "big" screen, I have developed warmer feelings towards her. When I see her, my first impression of her is spunky. She isn't afraid to wear what she wants, or so it seems for now, and I really loved her smokey eyes at the NY premier.

ps. the guy that plays cedric diggory is quite the hottie

i don't know if this was meant with racist undertones or just a matter of stating preference. no answer is needed, please. the comment was nasty in addition to being completely irrelevant to the discussion.

although, i didn't like the blue dress and tights combo i applaud her for taking the fashion risk. it didn't look downright horrible but something just didn't fit. she looked absolutely gorgeous at the ny premiere though! emma on the other hand needs a new stylist (or maybe she doesn't have one?).

Emma looks completely washed out in that dress and it does nothing for her body. Katie looks pretty cute, but way better with the scarf on, as without it her shoulders do look very bare and her outfit is a bit trendy. Anyhow, I think Katie is a fairly attractive girl, I think she just needs to lose some baby fat (10-15 lbs) and do her makeup better and then she'll probably be stunning.

I found her really unattractive at first, and was a little offended by her actually..

but shes definately grown on me. I haven't seen the movie nor am I a hp fan.. she doesnt seem like a snobbish child-star (compared to emma imo), and the fact that shes a little mismatched/uncoordinated on the red carpet makes her all the more endearing

i absolutely love her Japan premiere outfit. she looks gorgeous! the makeup is perfect, the dress is cute, she could've done without the stockings/tights/leggings, and the boots go well with the dress in that they don't go together at all (if that makes sense).

Both Katie and Clemence were asked to play characters considerably younger than their actual ages, so the film's makeup artists and costume people probably tried to make them look much younger in the movie.

At the premieres, both look their actual age and are much more glamorous than in the movie.

I think both girls are beautiful and stunning at the premieres!
