Knee/Thigh High Socks

^^^ That's what I was afraid of. I think it's totally cute and pretty on the stick-legged models but on normal girls like me without fatless thighs I bet it wouldn't be as good. I'm not heavy but certainly no Hana S. legs here. Has anyone had a problem with knee socks/above-the-knee socks making your legs look fat?

I think that it's more a matter of making sure to pick socks that aren't tight at the top. It also helps if the socks end above the knee or below - ending somewhere on the knee is not flattering for me. I was definitely afraid of the socks making my legs look chunky, but I found some pairs that end above the knee and are not tight and they look great.

HMm I always thought that knee-highs make your legs look thinner. Apart from the striped ones ofcourse..

I don't mind knee socks I liked the Prada And Dolce&Gabbana did theirs. I just hope that if they come back into style around here that the women that wear them don't have sweaty feet....um.....yeah.

^ yes, it will be very convenient for winter (knee high socks over opaque tights or leggings)..... It's still going to be a big trend for f/w 06.07....!

I live in knee highs! This is glorious news! Hopefully it'll mean more variety in the shops. I'm dying for a pair of the vertical ribbed stockings, only place I've found them is sock dreams.com and the customs would whack on a lot I fear. Anyone seen them in any UK shops?

*Psssst, they sell the exact same sweater mini at american apparel.... i saw it today at their store..... and it's on their website as well, in the "coming soon" section... buy matching or different colored over the knee socks and tada, instantly re-created the look....!

I'm in love with knee highs, but it's only something I wear at school. I remember trying white ones a year ago, but these days I just stick to wearing black with black shoes.

recently been butchering tights . .
to get socks & tights w/similar style to the marras ones posted
where the sock part ends after the ball of yr foot . . leaving some foot + toes open !
looks amazing w/round toe heels & peep-toes . .
almost a sleeker . . toned down, modern version of the legwarmer . .
but i still wear those too ! ;] fun !

^ those boots are VERY unflattering..... but the white ones aren't as bad though..... they go well with the grey knee high socks.... and short shorts... B)
