thanks for bringing this in mullet  good catch :flower:

i knew i'd noticed some and have actually saved a lot of the looks you've posted without realizing all the lace they had on them...
I'm a big fan of the look for summer and think the white lace in particular looks very fresh...
I actually liked the white lace stockings a lot...
they remind me of my childhood but they look very grown up at erdem

yeah, it really looks more intricate and 'nuts' this year
i remember last year, a lot of designs were more geometric and simple

i love that kind of dark ochre one at chloé--it appears more like textured fabric than lace

I love just about anything lace... an aunt of mine knits lacey doilies, and when I was a child (a younger one than I am now), I'd yank them off the tables and try wearing them as hats  Which is the first thing that comes to my mind now, after merely a decade and some... :ninja:

Hmm...I used to wipe the table with my grandma's doilies...table, hands, cups, everything really. :ninja:

It seems like this was just "in," being that I've retained a lot of black lace pieces from last year's "wave." Luckily, I like it! :D Those pieces by Isabel Marant are especially lovely...
Thank you for the pics, MulletProof!

i love how the lace brings feminity and romantic touch to the clothes. it makes them look.. adorable. i liked how they did lace in chloe
definately need to buy lace for the spring ^_^

I very much like lace, but I think it's very easy to make it look wrong..especially if you have no idea what you're doing with it and you're just incorporating it into your wardrobe because of it's trend factor.

^ I strongly agree on that, twilight.
usually a trendy fixation on lace only means lingerie-esque clothes..which i really hate..especially because, while the idea sounds fun, the adaptation in real life comes as rather... tacky :ninja:
I prefer it in a more romantic, even slightly grandma kind of way...like the chloe and isabel marant details.

I have bad memories of my childhood encounters with lace and have steered clear ever since but looking through this thread, I'm thinking I may want to give lace another chance in this lifetime. Specifically, in black.
The Valentino and Anna Molinari ones are very pretty.
