I like the capes and that leather dress is interesting. I find Elbaz tends to recycle too many of his cocktail styles in dresses.. I feel like I've seen it all before.

I'm unsure about this collection. It has considerably less frou frou than one would normally expect at a Lanvin show. It seems likes he boiled his aesthetic down to the bare essentials with this collection; I wonder why?

The shapes are quite interesting here too. I see that he is trying to experiment with new cuts (the 'sexy' dress that he played with last season too) and some of those printed dresses.

I'm curious to know why he made this collection so...minimal...in some respect. It feels new for Lanvin, thats for sure, but personally, I'm not sure if I love it as much as I do his other collections.

It's pretty, it's lovely, but I have seen it all before.

As much as I like it, I really feel tired of the monochromatic pallete broken with some pink/red accents.

altogether, it's a collection of Lanvin by Alber classics, but updated, with a few new looks here and there.

For me, this season has been a bit disappointing overall. But this is different. I honestly love everything about this collection. Even moreso than I loved the previous collection or the one before. So far, Lanvin has been the only thing that has never disappointed me.
I love the dramatic simplicity and beautiful shapes Alber brings to the runway.

When all Paris Fashion Week fails, you ALWAYS have Lanvin to fall back on. That's my favourite quality in Alber, he NEVER fails. Though I've seen some of these looks in his past collection, the styling and aesthetic still looks so fresh and desirable. And no one does oversized jewellery like Elbaz
