Lanvin F/W 2021.22 : Bella Hadid by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

I'm not in love with it, but I do think it stands out a bit from the pack, just by virtue of being not lookbook-ish. This sort of hairstyle doesn't suit Bella at all. Her face is already so angular and severe (beautiful, but still) that the hair is just overkill.

A miss opportunity to not features Eve in the campaign. If you gonna go for the 2000s at least ask the real people from that era.

Bella basically have the same facial expression in all the pictures.

And this too serious, the clothes and the presentation is really fun, the campaign should have the same spirit.

I love the campaign unfortunately not the clothes so much but this a gorgeous shoot that I think will stand out well in print

Not bad. Although if they were going for a Shalom Harlow look they should have just booked her. I don't think Bella put much effort into this. She made it okay, but we needed it to be great.

I don't understand why some models get blamed for having the same facial expression all the time and some don't. Joan Smalls has basically built her whole career on that "Blue Steel" of hers, just to mention one.

There has been such a disconnect between their campaigns and how they present the collections. Here, like the Paris Hilton one, is very glossy, regular high fashion glamour, but the clothes and presentations are still going by that quirky and cutesy vibe. Not sure what they want the vision to be.

She reminds me of a knock-off Eugenia Volodina in here with the very Meisel-esque posing...it all looks amateur and fan-made

First two are good, second two she is giving the same level of skill as her sister…just a bit amateur

and why the photographer or art director never get blamed? they most likely gave her directions and she followed them.

Wow, this and Gucci, but we also have Versace and Burberry... It's like they do these when they care and Versace and Burberry when they don't give a damn.
