It generally retails for $1600 from what I have heard. Sort of is impossible to get as it's sold out everywhere from what I imagine. Ebay would be your best choice at the moment ilovegreen

They really need to bring this bag back for next season. Its been a best seller for them and I know people will buy it if it is re-released. Its such a classic bag. If only the PTB at Lanvin knew of the people who really want this gorgeous bag.

It is my understanding that this bag is being released again for spring in black & turquiose.

Susans in SF. They said the bags should be arriving in February or so. Price is slightly higher than fall, I believe.

I hate it when they increase bag prices down to popularity. I dont know if I still want a lanvin kansas bag. I originally wanted it in plain black leather because I think it would make a great day bag and also because I was looking for a classic daytime bag too. It just seems like too much stress to get one now and not many places in london stock lanvin bags.

Anyway Im falling for the chanel cerf and stam bag now too..

i think the increase would make it a bit too much for a plain leather bag like this... at 1600 in the US, it's already much more expensive than the actual retail in europe.

I think the new price was in the range of 1640 - 1650.

the black velvet kansas is still at barneys if anyone want it. just not on the ground floor where it's supposed to be. it's on the arm of the mannequin in the lanvin area.

i'm feeling like i need to see the black leather IRL again. i saw a girl carry the brown one this weekend, and i think her outfit soured me on the bag...

How did the black velvet one look? This bag is the only thing my mother wants and we are all going to chip in for it in my family. I wonder how velvet would hold up?

I can not beleive it. I just got a chocolate brown vintage Kansas bag. I walked into the store and they just had it available from a photo shoot the store was using it. I am thrilled.
