The Lanvin pearls are not real, it is costume jewellery. And the style (very cute) has already been copied by other brands, like Folli Follie and Agatha, so I predict that we shall soon be flooded by this cute variation of the classic pearl necklace, in every price range. I saw something similar at Zara's too! And Chanel has a diferent and wonderful interpretation of a pearl necklace which consists in a long braid of material, like a ribbon, with pearls of different sizes sown to it. Something one can easily make oneself!

yeah, I bought a necklace like this ages ago and always get compliments on it. The one I bought was not lanvin, but only 20 bucks

i hope it's okay to post pics of a necklace i made in the Lanvin style? after all, previous posts are also about members making their own.
